THE PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS AND IS (ISLAMIC STATE)

World Ignores Christian Exodus from Islamic World
While the world fixates on the conflict between Israel and Hamas—and while most mainstream media demonize Israel for trying to survive amid a sea of Arab-Islamic hostility—similar or worse tragedies continue to go virtually ignored.
One of the most ancient Christian communities in the world, that of Iraq—which already had been decimated over the last decade, by Islamic forces unleashed after the ousting of Saddam Hussein—has now been wiped out entirely by the new “caliphate,” the so-called Islamic State, formerly known by the acronym “ISIS.” Islamist insurgents have issued an ultimatum to northern Iraq’s dwindling Christian population to either convert to Islam, pay a religious levy or face death, according to a statement distributed in the militant-controlled city of Mosul….
The Horrific Genocide of Christians in the Middle East
In an age where world leaders are gifted with more power and global influence than ever before, I ask why the blaring silence and apathy? The Christian Copts are being forcefully driven out of Egypt and countless churches have been destroyed. Yet there is barely any international support and protection. Our peaceful protests and appeals to the government for action have fallen on deaf ears, time and time again. We are witnessing a heinous cleansing of the entire Christian population in the Middle East by an expanding extremist Muslim terrorist group. Are we going to sit back and watch the disaster unfold, and in so doing, contribute to the crimes against humanity? The world’s silence is fuelling these extremist terrorist groups.
40,000 Iraqis stranded on mountain as Isis jihadists threaten death
Tens of thousands of members of one of Iraq's oldest minorities have been stranded on a mountain in the country's north-west, facing slaughter at the hands of jihadists surrounding them below if they flee, or death by dehydration if they stay. UN groups say at least 40,000 members of the Yazidi sect, many of them women and children, have taken refuge in nine locations on Mount Sinjar, a craggy, mile-high ridge identified in local legend as the final resting place of Noah's ark. At least 130,000 more people, many from the Yazidi stronghold of Sinjar, have fled to Dohuk, in the Kurdish north, or to Irbil, where regional authorities have been struggling since June to deal with one of the biggest and most rapid refugee movements in decades.
Can you imagine being trapped on top of a mountain, dying slowly of thirst, and knowing the only thing that awaits you upon descent is certain death or capture? This is exactly what is reportedly happening atop Mount Sinjar in Iraq. The dire situation has caused some families to make a seemingly incomprehensible decision. Forced with the bleak realization of their children dying of thirst or possibly being captured by Islamic State (formerly known as ISIS) militants, parents are making the unthinkable decision to throw their own children from the top of the mountain to end their suffering and bring about a quicker, and possibly more humane, death.
The Islamic State Terror Group’s Spokesman Has a Message for the United States: ‘I Say to America…’
“Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones,” he continued. “Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq. We will humiliate them everywhere, God willing, and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House. Every American Citizen working in any country will be slaughtered if America attack Iraq another warned.Several even threatened that the terror group will target American embassies. We will raise the flag of Allah in the White House.”

“We Will Raise the Flag of Allah in the White House” ISIS Warns America
“I say to America that the Islamic caliphate has been established,” Abu Mosa, a spokesman for the terror group, also known as ISIS, told Vice Media in a video interview posted online  Thursday. “Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones. Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq. We will humiliate them everywhere, God willing, and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House.”
How the specious concept of ‘proportionality’ became code for Israel-bashing by Rex Murphy
Even other terrorists shun ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The brutal, merciless Sunni terrorist group has been rampaging through town after town along the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Now they are besieging the “infidels” known as the Yazidi, a Kurdish ethnic subgroup with an obscure religion all their own. About 40,000 Yazidi have fled their homes and now are encamped on Mount Sinjur without either food or water. Within the Muslim Middle East, the Yazidi are a tiny people, easily extinguished. Western activists throw around the word “genocide” all too lightly. But atop that mountain, the word might become grimly appropriate. In editorial cartoons, Benjamin Netanyahu sits astride mountains of skulls. But apparently, ISIS’ leaders are more difficult to draw. As for the UN, it has yet to call a special session to bring ISIS to account, despite the dozens that have been convened over the years to embarrass Israel.
Islamic State fighters seized control of Iraq’s biggest dam, an oilfield and three more towns on Sunday after inflicting their first major defeat on Kurdish forces since sweeping across much of northern Iraq in June. Capture of the electricity-generating Mosul Dam, after an offensive of barely 24 hours, could give the Sunni militants the ability to flood major Iraqi cities or withhold water from farms, raising the stakes in their bid to topple Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s Shi’ite-led government. “The terrorist gangs of the Islamic State have taken control of Mosul Dam after the withdrawal of Kurdish forces without a fight,” said Iraqi state television.
Tens of Thousands of Shiites Worldwide Join Iran's Foreign Legion
If the “lone wolf” terrorism of veteran ISIS fighters is cause for alarm, consider the regional – if not global – reach of Iran’s state-sponsored multinational guerrilla force. Victory for the Iranian regime in Iraq and Syria would free up its foreign legion for a protracted anti-Western offensive against which the Sunni jihad would pale in comparison. As if to underline that point, a June 23 editorial in Iran’s regime-controlled Kayhan newspaper boasted that “Iran is the main threat to Israel, not al-Qaeda. Unlike al-Qaeda, Iran is a stable power and a threat to Israel’s existence.”
The dead Yazidi children won’t inspire any protests or much in the way of outrage. The hysterical rallies for Gaza won’t suddenly turn into anti-ISIS rallies. If any of the angry white hipsters with dead baby posters are asked about it, they will offer some variation on, “It’s Bush’s fault” or “it’s Tony Blair’s fault.” For Hamas and its supporters screaming “Free Gaza” at the top of their lungs, children, dead or alive, are just another propaganda weapon in the arsenal of terrorist theocracy. They are eager and willing to let Hamas go on killing Jewish and Muslim children in the name of its war.

Persecuted Christians in Iraq Look to Putin as an Unlikely Ally

"The West is not Christian," Chaldean Church official Aziz Emmanuel al-Zebari of the Iraqi city of Erbil told The Daily Beast. "They destroyed us by installing a government based on Islamic sects in which we have [no] place." Of Russia, he said, "They've always stood up for Christians. I'm sure they'd do more for us in our ancestral lands." Against the backdrop of all of this, there is the perception that the West is indifferent to the plight of Mideast Christians, or, at best, is slow to respond to help Christians being deprived of rights, tortured, and killed in Syria, Nigeria, Iraq, Egypt, and other parts of the Middle East. In response, the ancient Christian populations of these areas – which existed for centuries before there even was an Islam – are turning from London, Paris, and Washington, D.C., to Moscow in hopes of finding someone who will come down strongly in their defense.

ISRAEL AND HAMAS

Iran: The Regional Power behind the Hamas War Effort
While the international community, fearful of jostling the slowly progressing nuclear talks, keeps ignoring developments, Iran has managed to confront Israel on the southern front (Hamas and the PIJ) and the northern front (Hizbullah). Iran regards these fronts as part of its protective envelope and as suited to its concept of asymmetrical warfare, and as the first line of confrontation with Israel. As conflict escalates in Gaza and in Lebanon, Israel and the international community must put Iran’s role in the spotlight and not shy away from blaming it
As time passes, Iran moves closer to a nuclear weapon and at the same time tightens its grip on key regional events. The West must hold Iran accountable for its arsonist behavior and raise these issues during the negotiations.

Stories From The Battlefield: Hamas Tunnels Used To Target Israel’s Kindergartens
Israeli security sources, citing information acquired in interrogations of captured brigands, described a scenario under which hundreds of heavily armed Hamas fighters would have spilled out into Israel in the dead of night and within 10 minutes been positioned to infiltrate essentially all Israeli communities surrounding the Gaza Strip.  Waiting then in hiding until schools and kindergartens were occupied, the terrorists would then attempt to kill the children first, and then kill and kidnap as many Israelis as possible.  The plot was set to take place during Jewish New Year, on September 24.
Israel Holds the Free World's Destiny in Her Hands
For the UN, for the Christian bodies, for the White House, for the European Union, for the complacent public opinion and its journalistic sentinels, an independent Jewish State bearing the name “Israel,” with Jerusalem as its capital, a renewal of life in the land of the Bible, a vital Jewish people restored after 2,000 years to its own holy land, has raised unresolved questions and disturbing conclusions. Israel is the first line of Western defense in the battle for non-Muslim survival and prosperity in the world
Pat Condell once again exposes the truths that Leftists and Islamic supremacists are doing all they can to obscure.
Call It for What it Is: Anti-Semitism
Within the past few weeks, we have seen Jews locked in synagogues in France, as an anti-Israel demonstration dissolved into an anti-Semitic demonstration. We have witnessed a brick being thrown through the window of a kosher butcher store in France, another kosher store was burned to the ground, and three other synagogues have been attacked. In Frankfurt, Germany, an anonymous caller to a rabbi threatened that he and 30 other Jewish families will be listed and stricken. In the Netherlands, a rabbi’s home was attacked with stones, twice in one week. Also in Germany, which should know better), demonstrators were given a policeman’s megaphone and were allowed to shout, Jews, to the gas chambers.”

Don't worry Israel: America's with you

While genuinely mourning the suffering on both sides, and especially the Gazans’ tragedies, I can only go so far in the self-blame game.  I will say: Yes, we did it.  We left Gaza, even removing troops from the Philadelphia corridor so not one inch of Gaza would remain “occupied.”  We uprooted 7000 Israelis and destroyed their lives’ work.  We facilitated the raising of $14 million holy charitable dollars to purchase the Gaza settlers’ greenhouses and donate them to the Palestinians, only to see them trashed.  We provided food, electricity, cement and other building materials for “humanitarian” purposes – while Hamas hijacked them to build Gaza’s underground city of death.  But ultimately, I, and most Americans, blame Hamas – for its destructive charter, nihilistic culture, dictatorial politics, and manipulative sacrifice of Palestinian women and children while targeting innocent Israelis.  Ironically, blaming them reflects respect, acknowledging Palestinians’ “agency,” meaning choice and responsibility.
Female Israeli Soldiers and American Feminists
Almost daily, Americans are subjected to the rantings of the likes of Democrat darling Sandra Fluke, Democrat politician Wendy Davis, and crazier-than-a-hoot-owl Nancy Pelosi.  Shamelessly, Sandra Fluke insists that the government finance her $3,000-a-year birth control habit.  In Texas, Wendy Davis made a name for herself by standing for 11 hours on the crushed corpses of aborted babies filibustering Senate Bill 5’s abortion regulations.
Meanwhile, over in Israel, handsome, intelligent, patriotic young women serve in the Israel Defense Force (IDF) fighting Islamic terrorism alongside male soldiers, struggling to defend the land given them by God and to ensure the safety of the Jewish people.
After you see what Edible Arrangments did for Hamas, you’ll never buy from them AGAIN

Tariq Farid is the CEO of Edible Arrangements, which he started with his brother, Kamran Farid. Not only are they devout Pakistani Muslims, but they are major donors and fundraisers for American mosques, Islamic schools, and similar enterprises in Pakistan. Recent tax returns of their Farid Foundation, to which they and Edible Arrangements are major contributors, show that their foundation gives tens of thousands of dollars to extremist Islamic schools and mosques in America and to Islamic Relief, the HAMAS/Al-Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood “charity” which sends tens of millions of dollars to finance jihad around the world.
"You can negotiate with fellow human beings with whom you have some kind of common ground. The assumption as we negotiate is that there is fair play. The problem with negotiating with Hamas is that they have a vision, a certain kind of utopia. And for that utopia to be realized, the State of Israel must be completely destroyed.  Shariah law has to be established, ideally, all over the world. You can never trust a Jew, you can never trust a Christian. That is the utopia. Women have to behave a certain way, they have to be locked up;  it is very totalitarian. You can negotiate until you are as blue in the face as the American flag, but it will never yield anything on the other side."

Somalian Human Rights Activist Gives Her Take on Israel-Hamas Conflict
Somalian refugee turned activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali sees the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza as a microcosm of a much larger global problem, and does not believe that a peaceful solution is possible as long as radical Islam continues to exist. She makes five points on the global struggle against radical Islam.

CANADA

Trudeau lambasted for visiting mosque linked to al-Qaida recruitment

Tarek Fatah, founder of the Muslim Canadian Congress comments:  "(This) mosque he mentions with pride is in his own words a Wahhabi mosque, the role model for ISIS, Hamas, al-Qaida and the Taliban," he told QMI Agency. Fatah said the Liberal leader would have been better off "denouncing jihad, Sharia and Jew-hatred that is the staple lecture at these mosque sermons." "For him to pretend this is about meeting with people with whom he disagrees is intellectual dishonesty and playing ethnic politics to the advantage of those who seek Canada's destruction along with the rest of European civilization, secularism, gender equality and individual liberty.” "First, Justin Trudeau refused to condemn the horrific bombing of the Boston Marathon — instead he tried to rationalize the actions of evil individuals."
It's clear that Justin Trudeau cannot be trusted to keep Canadians safe."

AROUND THE WORLD

  photo aug98_zps202bf73b.jpg

From Northern Iraq to Northeastern Syria, from Nairobi, Kenya to Benghazi, Libya, from Lahore, Pakistan to the rugged mountains of Mali and Afghanistan, militant Muslims have executed tens of thousands of their fellow Muslims and are on a killing rampage against Christians. The world is shocked and distressed. The Muslims’ killing campaign did not end with their defeat at the gates of Vienna. Their eviction from Spain was a temporary forced retreat. But now Muslims have, in huge numbers, penetrated the gates of every city and town in Europe and North America without even having to use their swords. Islam presently has its stranglehold over on a billion humans, posing an existential threat to all non-Muslims. When this billion and a half adhere to the pathological belief of Islam and use it as their marching orders of life, the rest of humanity ignores this threat at its peril.

I've been experiencing a big personal change, to do with seeing a woman wearing the Muslim headscarf. I used to have no response. Now every time I see this, I ask myself: "Just what does she believe?" Most of all, my sense is that it's taken a long time for it to sink in that I'm seeing women walking around advertising that they're part of a religion that seeks world domination, that seeks the destruction of my culture and way of life, that views all non-Muslims as filthy Kafirs — to be deceived, beheaded, crucified, plotted against, terrorized, humiliated, according to the Quran, which they believe is true — or what are they doing, wearing the Muslim headscarf?

Jihad means there will be blood
From Northern Iraq to Northeastern Syria, from Nairobi, Kenya to Benghazi, Libya, from Lahore, Pakistan to the rugged mountains of Mali and Afghanistan, radical Muslims have executed hundreds of their fellow Muslims and are on a killing rampage against Christians. The world is shocked and distressed.  Distressed by the Muslims’ trouble-making and killing sprees, civilized nations are bending over backwards in the hope of placating them and helping them join the family of humanity by admitting hordes of immigrants and offering them all manner of hospitality and assistance. All these gestures remain in vain and to no avail. Many of the new arrivals, deeply infected by the violent side of the Islamic ethos, find it impossible to assimilate in the host countries. Instead, they strive to impose their own order, which is the cause of their own backwardness and inhumanity in the nations from which they have emigrated.
The New Nazism's First Victim: Truth
In Europe, immigration has not led to integration, as the multiculturalists have wished, but to intimidation. People defending the West and its values, people who show their solidarity with the West's international allies, such as the U.S. and Israel, are threatened with vandalism and worse.
Threats to our freedoms are on the rise again and already have made their first victim: Truth. The next victim will be freedom of speech: the freedom of those who speak the truth to proclaim it. Asked in a television interview why she still displays the Israeli flag after being beaten up and whether it would not be wiser to remove it, Seraphina Verhofstadt said: "If I do that, I will also lose my freedom of speech." First we lose truth, then we lose freedoms, and finally we lose life. Europe has seen it happen before. It is time to draw the line, and stand with Israel against terrorism.
