Debra Burlingame Corrects Bill Clinton
On the Opportunity to Take Out
Bin Laden
Before 911

Last week, former President Bill Clinton was back in the news
with the release of the audio of a speech that he had delivered to an Australian audience on September 10th, 2001, just hours before the horrific terrorist attacks on America the next day.

In the speech, Clinton claimed that he could have killed Osama Bin Laden when he was president, but elected not to because he wanted to avoid 300 civilian casualties when the opportunity to kill Bin Laden presented itself.

Literally just a few hours after Clinton delivered those remarks, three thousand innocent civilians—including women and children—were killed in the worst terrorist attack in history when Al Qaeda jihadists hijacked 4 airliners, crashing them into the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington and, thanks to the courage of passengers on board, a field in Pennsylvania.

When Clinton delivered his remarks, he was actually bragging about his restraint because ordering the strike would have made him “no better than” Bin Laden.

But the reality is that Clinton’s account of events was far from the whole truth. As detailed in the 9/11 Commission Report, the man Clinton appointed to serve as CIA Director, George Tenet, testified before the 9/11 Commission that the attack on Bin Laden’s compound was not called off due to fears of killing innocent women and children, but because of the presence of members of the United Arab Emirates’ royal family in Bin Laden’s compound.

This was hammered home forcefully on Friday night when Debra Burlingame, sister of Charles “Chic” Burlingame, III, the pilot of the Al Qaeda-hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 that was flown into the Pentagon on 9/11, and a co-founder of 9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong America, appeared on Fox News’ Hannity.

Debra detailed the actual history behind Bill Clinton’s involvement in the fight against Bin Laden and Al Qaeda with a barrage of facts:
