Dear Supporter,
We need your help! It will take just a moment of your time.
Due to pressure from powerful Islamist groups in America, three
universities have cancelled screenings of Clarion Project’s latest
film Honor Diaries.
Honor Diaries
addresses the abuses women and girls face in Muslim-majority
societies: forced marriage, female genital mutilation, denial of
education, restriction of movement and – the ultimate – honor
killings.
The film’s story is told by nine courageous women’s rights activists
who witnessed firsthand the oppression women endure and profiles
their efforts to affect change in Muslim-majority societies.
We cannot let
the Islamists silence the voices of these brave women.
With just a few clicks you can send a letter that we have prepared
for you to your congressperson. It will help us achieve two goals:
- Help us
pass a bill in Congress that will help protect women from
oppression and abuse, including those in Muslim-majority
societies.
- Help us
arrange a screening of the film Honor Diaries on Capitol Hill.
We prepared a letter and will send it
for you to your congressperson. Make your voice count! It should take
less than a minute. Please
letter now.
