Germany: Sports complex turns emergency refugee shelter in Leipzig

Leipzig University transformed its sports hall into a temporary refugee shelter Friday in response to the growing numbers of migrants and refugees without housing in the area. Saxony has received 10,500 new asylum seekers in the first half of 2015 compared to 3,800 in the same period of 2014.
