A wave of Brussels-style attacks is feared
American intelligence officials believe Europe has more than 100 ISIS trained terror cells poised to launch a wave of copycat attacks to the deadly bombings in Brussels.

The warning comes as the FBI works closely with their Belgium counterparts attempting to identify “a wider network” of Jihadists believed to have already secreted themselves on the continent.
Fears are that more than 450 terrorists, including suicide bombers, have been ordered to carry attacks “when they see fit”.

The cells are believed to have travelled to Iraq and Syria for bomb making training before returning to Europe.

Officials believe many carry EU passports.

ISIS cells have infiltrated many European countries

Islamic State fighters have been found to cross the sparsely-guarded 565-mile Turkish border with relative ease with many of the group’s senior leaders boasting how they hide within fleeing migrants.
Sources say that although ISIS is concerned about the loss of more than 10,000 fighters largely through air strikes in their Middle East strongholds, they have been “heartened” by the progress the cells have made.

One US intelligence source told the Mirror: “We understand the orders these men - and women - have been given are basic in the extreme.

“They are to carry out co-ordinated attacks in their cells but are left to decided a time and place of their choosing.
