Our goal is to have Brigitte’s Militant Islam DVD played on every possible public access TV station in America. Did you know that in many cases you have a right to submit programming to your local public access TV station? In most cases your local cable company has an agreement with the local community that gives you this right. We need you to utilize this service provided by the cable stations to help get the DVD, “Militant Islam” on television stations around the country. This is a great opportunity and we do not want to pass up the chance to be in the millions of potential homes of television viewers around the country. But we need your help to make this work. While rules for programming submission and airing may differ slightly from station to station you can use the guidelines below as a general rule of thumb: 1. Locate the physical address and telephone number of your local public access TV station. -You can do this by calling the local cable company and asking them for this information. -Or by calling your local city or town council member and ask them for this information. 2. Contact your local public access Television station. -Establish a point of contact at the TV station. Let them know you are a private citizen in the area and would like to submit programming to be considered for air time. -Find out what the station requirements are for submitting programming. They may have you fill out a few forms or they may ask you to “sponsor” the film as a local citizen. 3. Obtain the DVD, Militant Islam, from ACT! For America. -Once you have obtained clear guidelines from the TV station for submitting programming please email that information to info@actforamerica.org and we will send out a free copy of Militant Islam for you to submit to the station. Include the following info: A. Your name and contact information so we can ship a DVD to you. B. Name of the TV station. C. Name and contact information for your point of contact at the TV station. D. Briefly describe the procedures for submitting programming at this local station. 4. Submit the Militant Islam DVD to the local station. Be sure to watch during the scheduled time for your showing and send a report back to ACT!
