The excitement of the World Cup has reverberated around the world,
even to radical Muslims. With the wrapping up of the world's largest sporting event, we were faced with the shocking and devastating news that 64 fans were slaughtered in Uganda.
Do these terrorists and terrorists around the world deserve mourning? Should people have the right to weep for the dead, even if they are murderers? Robert Spencer discusses how Detroiters mourned the death of an infamous Lebanese cleric who outwardly supported terrorism. Do these mourners therefore become terrorist supporters?
Around the world this past week we have learned the name Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, who was accused of adultery and therefore slated for a death penalty via stoning. Due to massive worldwide pressure, Iran has stated that it will reconsider the stoning, however, the death penalty still stands. Nonie Darwish explores how terribly women are treated by the laws of Sharia.
Each and every one of you must stand up and take action. Sign a petition to say to Iran that not only is stoning completely abhorrent, but the death penalty for adultery and Sharia in general is wholly unacceptable. We will not stand idly by while these atrocities continue. Then watch this special clip to see the effect of radical Islam on Europe.
Detroit Muslims Mourn Terrorist Cleric
By Robert Spencer |
Shi’ite Muslims in Detroit were in mourning last week for the Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, a world-renowned Lebanese cleric who died on July 4.
Three Shi’ite mosques conducted memorial services for six nights, with thousands of area Muslims attending.
That ought to give law enforcement and government officials pause, since Fadlallah was a bloodthirsty jihadist cleric who hated America and Israel, and approved of the 1983 Hezbollah attacks on a U.S. Marine barracks and the American Embassy in Beirut that killed over 300.
If what the mainstream media constantly tells us about Islam and Muslims is true, wouldn’t thousands of Muslims in Detroit be denouncing Fadlallah, rather than mourning him? |
Terrorizing Muslim Women
By Nonie Darwish |
[…] The silence is deafening around the world in regards to the inhumanity and brutality of Sharia towards women. Most of the activism against stoning, flogging and abuse of women under Sharia is heard from former Muslim women, like myself, and a few others in the West who dare to expose the truth.
Muslim women have no choice but to abide by Sharia, since rejecting it is grounds for the charge of apostasy, punishable by death. Having been exposed to Sharia for centuries, Muslim women have learned convoluted coping mechanisms to avoid Sharia’s wrath. Engaging in their own form of Stockholm Syndrome, most Muslim women publicly defend the very laws that enslave them. Even Obama’s advisor on Islamic affairs, Dalia Mujahed, stated that Sharia is “misunderstood.” Muslim women end up as the guardians of their own jails. It is women who often report younger girls who refuse to wear the head cover, and some wives cover up for the honor killing of a daughter by their husband or son. Many have accepted their inferior status and wear it as a badge of honor.
That is why there is no significant grass-roots feminist movement in the Muslim world today. Muslim feminists are routinely accused of… |
Take Action - Say no to death by stoning and sign the petition |
On July 13, 2010 Iranian officials have stated that the stoning charge against Iranian mother, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani will be reviewed, but the death sentence still remains.
She faces death after having been tortured for alleged adultery. WE must not let Ashtinai become another victim of the debasing, inhuman treatment of women that has become the daily reality in Iran. Make your voice count and encourage others to do the same. Join the tens of thousands who have already taken action.
