Do Americans Really Care About Our National Security?

Dave Gaubatz

Many Americans feel safe in a Fool's Paradise, believing their country will protect them from extremism and terror - a former military intelligence agent bursts that bubble.

I saw many things in Iraq that people should never have to witness. I saw mothers who had been tortured and subsequently killed by Saddam's forces, and many of the mothers died while holding their babies... Many were buried alive with their children in their arms.

‘Special Projects/Black Projects' are programs our government is working on that would literally scare the ‘hell' out of people if they were aware of them. After working 24.5 years with our government and being aware of the vast amount of intelligence that should be shared with citizens, but instead was locked away in vaults by the millions, I decided it was time Americans became aware of the very ‘grave' threats our country was facing from Islamic based terrorist groups and their supporters. Most Americans would find it hard to believe that terrorist supporters could include politicians, media personnel, law enforcement, and even numerous military members such as Maj. Hassan (Ft. Hood murderer).
