Attorney
General Eric H. Holder Jr. faces a contempt of Congress hearing Wednesday
after refusing a last-minute compromise offer to turn over subpoenaed
documents to a House committee investigating the botched "Fast and
Furious" gunrunning operation.
If we could just get relations
chummy enough, the Kremlin and the White House would become a dynamic duo,
tackling a growing list of world problems. So much for that plan.
When CAIR promotes behaviors in
America that are extra-Constitutional, which takes precedence? The American
Constitution (i.e., the law of the land) or Shariah-compliant Islam which
contravenes what is in the Constitution?
The late Sen. Daniel Patrick
Moynihan famously observed that "Everyone is entitled to his own
opinion, but not his own facts." It's an admonition not taken
particularly seriously by today's political left. If they did, they'd give
up this ghost.
To Jihadists - who are severe
threats to non-Muslims and "moderate Muslims" alike - nothing is
out of bounds. Dissimulation, deception and any kind of violence are
Quran-sanctioned tools.

Darrell Issa said his
face-to-face meeting Tuesday with Eric Holder failed to produce the
documents requested for the congressional investigation into the Justice
Department's botched Fast and Furious gun walking operation and suggested
he needs them by Wednesday morning to stop a scheduled vote to put Holder
in contempt of Congress.
