The promotion of the food
stamp program, includes a Spanish-language flyer provided to the Mexican
Embassy by the USDA with a statement advising Mexicans in the U.S. that they do not need to declare their
immigration status in order to receive financial assistance.

media don't want to believe there are "engaged" terrorists
outside al-Qaeda.
It amazes me what lengths to
which the left will go to avoid mentioning terrorism and Islam in the same sentence.
With a few lucky breaks, last
week's Boston Marathon bombing could have had a dramatically different
outcome.
The
suspected Boston Marathon terrorist bombers wanted to attack New York - and
specifically planned to blow up Times Square before they were captured...
Now U.S. citizens are
experiencing delayed flights across the country as the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) furloughs each of its employees one day every other
week.
American policies toward Islam
are stuck in the dubious notion that Moderate Islam is the norm, and that
it is our duty to help those who so profess in order to hinder Militant
Islamism, our sworn enemy.
One of the most unpleasant
things, in the aftermath of terrorist attack, is the way commentators want
the perpetrator to fit a particular profile.
What it will do is very
important: it will prompt some Westerners to conclude that Islamism is a
threat to their way of life.

It was only a few months ago that
a prominent mosque in Virginia hosted a controversial imam who urged
immigrant Muslims in the US to wage war for Islam.
