Sweden: Syrian “refugees” complain it is too cold, demands metropolitan atmosphere
January 4, 2015 12 Comments 926The lack of thankfulness is astonishing. Somebody on the bus even stole the busdriver’s computer. Recently, Muslim refugees came to Sweden in a private jet.
Translated from DKA:
New Year’s Eve around 40 asylum seekers from Syria and other Middle Eastern countries were driven to a small northern Swedish town, Grytan. But here they would certainly not stay.
The asylum seekers had a fit and refused to leave the bus. They would not stay in such a small cold city. They demanded to come to Malmö or another big city.
“I am 75 years and from the Middle East, and then I am sent to a place like this,” said a man from Syria to the local newspaper, Östersunds-Posten, and pointed to the road with ice and snow.
The authorities were accused of lying: we were not told that this was where we were going.
“The Syrian bus occupation” gets a lot of attention in the Swedish media, triggering criticism:
“We have long heard refugees complaining about the accommodation. Now they complain about the cold and the lack of metropolitan atmosphere.”
