CEP “Daily Dose”
Highlights Extremist Rhetoric, Actions
(New York, NY) -- The Counter
Extremism Project (CEP) today announced the launch of a new resource,
the “Daily Dose – Extremists: Their Words. Their Actions,” on its
website. This new feature highlights extremists’ own words to reveal the
violent and dangerous nature of their beliefs, goals, and strategies.
Each day, CEP will post on its website a quote, fact, or tweet from an
extremist group or leader. Like CEP’s analysis report, Foreign
Fighters: Fact or Fiction, the Daily Dose is part of CEP’s continuing
effort to combat extremist ideology and rhetoric by exposing its true and
often grisly nature and raising awareness about its growing
threat.
Each day’s quote, fact, or tweet will be posted on the CEP homepage
just below the recent press release headlines.
Today’s Daily Dose is a quote from former President of Egypt and
Muslim Brotherhood leader Muhammed Morsi:
“Dear brothers, we must not forget to nurse our children and
grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews, and all
those who support them. They must be nursed on hatred. The hatred must
continue.”
About the Counter Extremism Project (CEP)
The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) is a not-for-profit,
non-partisan, international policy organization formed to combat the
growing threat from extremist ideology. Led by a renowned group of former
world leaders and former diplomats, CEP combats extremism by pressuring
financial support networks, countering the narrative of extremists and
their online recruitment, and advocating for strong laws, policies and
regulations.
