The
theater of the absurd seems to have found a place to perform in the
current atmosphere created by the threat of Islamic terrorism in both
Europe and the United States. Belgium, which has seen its deeply-rooted
radical Islamic nature exposed by the attacks in Paris and Brussels,
thinks it has the answer to the phenomenon of Islamic radicalization.

Last
Wednesday, just two years and a day after the deadly terrorist attack on
the Jewish Museum in Brussels, and barely more than two months after the
twin attacks on the Brussels airport and metro, Belgian police arrested
a group of Muslim youth planning yet another attack, this time
in Antwerp. Aiming "to kill as many kufar," or
non-Muslims, as possible, the group is believed to have been planning to
bomb Antwerp's Central Station. The group also is believed to have made
previous plans to assassinate right-wing politician Filip Dewinter, the
leader of the Vlaams Belang party. Those plans were put on hold, however,
in favor of a larger-scale attack.

Leader of U.S. Supported Syrian
Rebel Group Backs Al-Qaida
Al-Qaida and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) are allies fighting alongside
each other for the same cause and should not be viewed differently when
it comes to toppling the Assad regime, said Anas al-Abdeh, president of
the U.S.-backed National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition
Forces.

The Iraqi Shi'ite militias, operating with the support
and direction of Iran, are in fact participating in the Fallujah
campaign. However, there is a significant disparity between the degree of
involvement of Iran and its proxies in the fighting, and the way that
involvement is represented by the Iranians. While the Iraqi security
forces (especially the counterterrorism forces) have a main role in the
fighting, Iranian reports give prominence to the role played by Qasem
Soleimani and the Shi'ite militias.

to smile but doesn't look at her photographer. The caption mentions a
single biographical fact: She is for sale.

Iran has a long history of backing the Taliban's
insurgency against US and allied forces in Afghanistan. Indeed, the
relationship between the two former foes is one of the most misunderstood
and oft-overlooked aspects of the 9/11 wars.

Who invited this "Salafist megastar," who
denies the Holocaust and is known for making anti-Semitic statements, to
visit Malmö? What do you do when anti-Semitism in Malmö, Sweden's
third-largest city, is so normalized that children in a public school can
endorse a conference with anti-Semitic elements?
