Calais child migrants attack refugee aid workers from UN over failed UK asylum bid
A GROUP of minors from the Calais 'Jungle' refugee camp attacked two workers from the United Nations refugee agency last week.
The
Britain-bound child asylum seekers were apparently "deeply unhappy and
frustrated" after being told their claims were rejected by the Home
Office.
Police arrested one of the minors, a
14-year-old, amid claims he was the one to have incited the unprovoked
attack, according to French daily France Bleu.
The
UN staffers - two women - were visiting a migrant reception centre near
the southern city of Perpignan when they were attacked.
