
The
president has it exactly right. He is facing an unprecedented campaign by
career government employees to sabotage his presidency with a flood of
leaks to the press of classified and confidential information.
The U.S.
cannot win in Afghanistan unless there is a significant change in the
strategic environment because Pakistan, through its support of the Taliban,
regulates the operational tempo of the conflict and the supplies
essential to sustain our troops in Afghanistan transit Pakistani
territory.
According
to Secretary Tillerson, Trump put Abbas and Netanyahu under great
pressure to get them to move. He probably did the same to King Salman. At
the same time, he made nice to all of them.
"The
‘hit' was so devastating," states the Rohna Survivors Association,
"that the U.S. Government placed a veil of secrecy upon it."
Memorial
Day is one of the most important days in the American Calendar. Though
now celebrated on the last Monday of May, it was not always celebrated on
this day.
As someone
whose own son gave his life in the service of this great nation, Paul

White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney
briefed reporters and took their questions on President Trump's proposed
fiscal year 2018 budget. He detailed some of the driving ideology and
priorities of the budget, and reiterated the administration's commitments
to law enforcement, border security, and the military. Many of the
questions from reporters focused on the administration's request for
money to expand walls on the U.S.-Mexico border, and on its proposed
spending cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP),
the successor to the federal food stamps program. (CSPAN)
