“If I am correct, FGM is done
so that the husband will know that he is her first . So why not stitch up the
foreskin on male boys just before puberty, enough so that they can still use
that organ for bathroom purposes but sexual purposes will cause them as much
agony as women with FGM. That way the girls/women will also know that they are
the first, and it will have the added effect of stopping many rapes. It seems
that if it is good for one sex it should be good for the other sex. As a woman
I shudder at the thought of FGM and the agony those women go through.”
