Woman Reports Assault and Confinement

Saskatoon Police are looking for five men of Middle Eastern
appearance after a 26 year old Melfort woman reported being confined
against her will and sexually assaulted.
The drama began Monday afternoon when the woman says she was walking
near a gas station on Highway 5, when she was approached by the men in a
black truck. It’s alleged that they drove her to what is believed to be
an east side residence, forced her into the basement, and sexually
assaulted her. She was able to escape, hailed a cab, and was driven to a
convenience store where she called police.
The driver is described as being approximately 35-40 years-old with a
short beard, dark “buzz cut” hair and a thicker build. He was described
as wearing a black dress jacket, jeans and tan “Timberland” boots.
The second passenger in the vehicle is described as being approximately
25-30 years-old, tall with a skinny build and having a beard.
The third is described as being approximately 27-28 years-old with a
beard and short black “frizzy” hair. He was approximately 6′ in height
with a slim build.
