Western 'Islamic State' converts are among foreign fighters buying women and girls as young as twelve years of age for the equivalent of €20 for sex slavery.

The ‘Islamic State’ terrorist group have kidnapped and forced hundreds, possibly thousands, of young girls into sex slavery.

Girls as young as 12 years of age are being sold for the equivalent of €20, according to a report in The Times today.

Young girls and their mothers are being seized in what is believed to be the biggest case of enslavement in this century, and Western converts who have travelled to fight with the terror group Isis are among the men buying the girls.

The women who are torn from their families are being classified according to their age, their education and their marital status. They are then transported to ‘sorting centres’ and traded openly at markets run by the terrorism group.

One activist and former Yazidi MP was told of two foreign fighters from Australia who bought a 'group of girls'.

“I have a case of one escapee who was one of a group of girls bought and raped by two Australian brothers from Isis,” activist and former MP Amena Saeed said.

“These were not Australians of Islamic origin – these are white-skinned, blonde-haired Australians, converts.”

Iraqi Kurdish fighters flashed victory signs as they swept across the northern side of Sinjar mountain on Saturday, two days after breaking through to free hundreds of Yazidis trapped there for months by Islamic State fighters. A Reuters correspondent, who arrived on the mountain late Saturday, witnessed Kurdish and Yazidi fighters celebrating their gains after launching their offensive on Wednesday with heavy U.S. air support. One 19-year-old woman described the moment she was ‘chosen’ as a sex slave.

“My mother started screaming and begging for mercy as the Daesh [Isis] fighters told my sister and me to join the group of younger women specially selected.

“But they tore us from her grasp, I saw other women in the building being dragged out to waiting lorries by their hair.”

This woman, who is identified by ‘Girl B’ for the article, and her 14-year-old sister are among several Yazidi women who have managed to escape since they were seized from the town of Sinjar in August.

The girls’ ordeal will be documented in a report released tomorrow by Amnesty International, ‘Escape from hell – Torture, sexual slavery in Islamic State captivity in Iraq’.

The group have also published a guide on permissible practices with the girls and women and how to punish them.
