Syed Muhammad Rizvi‘s statements on Islam:
Syed Hassan Mujtaba Rizvi‘s statements on Islam:
In the opinion of this House, the Legislative Assembly of Ontario should reaffirm that diversity has always played an important part in Ontario’s culture and heritage; recognize the significant contributions Muslims have made, and continue to make, to Ontario’s cultural and social fabric and prosperity; stand against all forms of hatred, hostility, prejudice, racism and intolerance; rebuke the notable growing tide of anti-Muslim rhetoric and sentiments; denounce hate attacks, threats of violence and hate crimes against people of the Muslim faith; condemn all forms of Islamophobia and reaffirm its support for government’s efforts, through the Anti-Racism Directorate, to address and prevent systemic racism across government policy, programs and services, and increase anti-racism education and awareness, including Islamophobia, in all parts of the province. In her speech at the legislature, MPP Des Rosiers mentioned only the family name of a Muslim religious leader who encouraged her to table the anti-Islamophobia motion. The following is an excerpt from Des Rosiers’ statement:
Syed Rizvi today told me, “The voices of hatred are loud. We need the voices of reason to speak together to be louder.” This is what this motion wants to achieve.CIJnews reached out to Des Rosiers’ office by phone and email asking her to reveal the identity of the imam as two leading imams in Canada are known by the name Syed Rizvi: Syed Muhammad Rizvi and Syed Hassan Mujtaba Rizvi. Her secretary promised to check, but as of February 28, 2017 no response was received from Des Rosiers’ office.
Who is “Syed Rizvi” who inspired MPP Des Rosiers?
Syed Muhammad Rizvi is the Imam of the Islamic Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat of Toronto and a prominent Shiite scholar and cleric in Canada.Syed Muhammad Rizvi‘s statements on Islam:
This is where we have, you know, the Ummah [Muslim Nation] has really reached to a point where human life has no value anymore and that is the tragedy, that we have reached to a point where, you know, we do not even consider, you know, twice before killing somebody with whom we don’t agree, because of his views and politics or religious matters.
In the Islamic legal system, homosexuality is a punishable crime against the laws of God. In the case of homosexuality between two males, the active partner is to be lashed a hundred times if he is unmarried and killed if he is married; whereas the passive partner is to be killed regardless of his marital status. In the case of two females (i.e., lesbianism), the sinners are to be lashed a hundred times if they are unmarried and stoned to death if they are married (click HERE).
“Sexual desire is aroused in human beings at the age of puberty. In Islamic legal definition puberty (bulugh) is determined by one of the following: 1. age: fifteen lunar years for boys and nine lunar years for girls… In the case of girls, it not only allows them to be married as soon as they become mature, but also recommends such marriage… Physical maturity by itself, however, is not enough for a person to handle the marriage responsibilities; rushd (maturity of mind) is equally important (click HERE).[Note: Nine years in lunar year, the minimum age according Islam for girl to marry, is in fact 8 years and nine months in solar year, as the lunar year is shorter by 11-12 days of the solar year.]
You [husband] are the head of the family. You have an upper hand on her [wife] as the head of the family. Final decisions, if it cannot be made mutually, your decision will count. But remember, you have to be humble and you have to be kind to your wife. (click HERE)Syed Hassan Mujtaba Rizvi, Pakistani born Shiite cleric who grew up in Canada.
Syed Hassan Mujtaba Rizvi‘s statements on Islam:
My affiliations are with Iran, because my affiliation with Canada would mean that if in Canada there was something for me to affiliate by, that was given to me by Allah, I should have affiliation with Canada. But when I look towards Allah, and I see that He has affiliation with Iran, has no affiliation with Canada with America, I say: I have affiliation with Iran.
We will stand as we stood today, as we will stand in the future, for any insult that comes to the Prophet and you should know this, that this is going to continue. It will not stop, and God is our witness, we will see the day when religion of Allah will overpower all of these oppressors and justice and peace will rule the world.
You have to know that this is not going to stop. It is only the beginning and as it goes forward these are the steps where the one government that is going to be over the whole world, and there is the government of the Imam of the time, Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him may Allah bring him as soon as possible, and the other name that is synonymous with this name is the name of Hussein. We are at your service! O Hussein! We are at your service! O Hussein! We are at your service! O Hussein!
So don’t scare us with prisons. Do not scare us with death. Do not scare us that you are going to take us and deport us. Do not scare us with anything, because we are not scared of anyone, but the superpower which is Allah Glorified and Exalted be He… If it is the martyrdom is our future, then I say to everyone of you: Let the future come! O Hussein [the grandson of Mohammad, the prophet of Islam], We are at your service. O mahdi [the prophesied messiah of Islam], We are at your service! O mahdi, We are at your service!” (click HERE)
