United Against Nuclear Iran Statement on Yet Another Houthi Missile Attack on Saudi Arabia

New York, NY - United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) Chairman and former U.S. Senator Joseph I. Lieberman issued the following statement today on this weekend's Houthis missile attack on Saudi Arabia:

"The missile attack on Saudi Arabia by the Houthis this weekend provides even more evidence that the Iranian regime is continuing its efforts to incite conflict and further destabilization in the region.  Tehran's transfer of missiles to its Yemeni proxy, in violation of UN Resolution 2216, endangers U.S. allies and interests throughout the region and must be stopped.  With Iran's help, the Houthis are not only becoming bolder in Yemen, but have the potential to extend their regional presence.  Just last week their leadership offered services to Hezbollah in the event of a wider regional conflict.  The Iranian regime's continued aggression demonstrates the urgent need to hold the regime accountable by cracking down on its illicit non-nuclear activities," said UANI Chairman and former U.S. Senator Joseph I. Lieberman.
