Dear Friends,
The news from Fukushima is more and more appalling. The radiation level at the plant has increased 1000 fold, making it unsafe to even be on site. The decontamination system, which removes strontium 90 and other biotoxic elements from the water released into the Pacific, has failed, and no one knows when it will start up again. The Pacific ecosystem is crashing. Workers are basically slaves, and some who heroically fought the original emergency are being asked to return the compensation they received.
And still, no independent international team is allowed on site.
Many sources report that radioactivity from Fukushima has arrived at the West Coast, yet the official agencies still deny it, and still don't test food, air, water.
