Watch Immigration Minister avoid Rebel questions on UN Global Compact at Ryerson Q & A

  • After flying to Marrakech to cover the UN Global Compact on Migration only to be barred from the premises and ignored by Immigration Minister Hussen, we were delighted to learn the Minister would be dropping by Toronto’s Ryerson University last Friday to deliver a speech on the compact and stage a press conference.

We made a beeline for Ryerson, but alas, Rebel reporters don’t receive the warmest reception from Federal Liberal Ministers!
Hussen was more than a half-hour late for his own press conference, and when he finally appeared, it wasn’t your standard presser.
Usually, the person giving the conference makes a statement and then entertains questions from the media, but not this time. No questions were taken. Not one!
There was however, what appeared to be a makeshift modification after his feel-good talk with a friendly audience of Ryerson students.
When that session wrapped, the Minister hobnobbed with attendees. We stood by the exit door in a stubborn attempt to ask him three important questions NOBODY in the mainstream media is asking and that we previously tried to put to the Minister.
Watch as I show you how events unfolded.
Try as we might, the Trudeau Liberals simply will not answer these questions that they’re not getting from their trained seals in the mainstream media.
When it comes to the UN Migrant Compact and what it really means to Canada, perhaps the silence from the Liberals speaks volumes.
