Islam is a mighty force, whether the West,
believing or not believing, likes it or not. But Islam does not deserve to be
excused from the requirement of conforming to reasonable norms of coexistence
with secular authorities and with other faiths. And it certainly does not
deserve a full pass from that large segment of our self-loathing Western media
that devotes itself constantly to the destruction of Judeo-Christian values,
while largely ignoring the antics of teeming masses of Muslims who
scream death to the West while pressing their foreheads against the floor of
their mosques, and who treat women as property and intellectual curiosity
as blasphemy.

Nine of the 10 countries listed as dangerous for
Christians are Muslim-majority states, many of them torn by conflicts with
radical Islamists. Saudi Arabia is an exception but ranked sixth because of its
total ban on practising faiths other than Islam.
Hillary Clinton, the woman whose policy had
overthrown the Libyan government and then placed a barely defended diplomatic
facility in the middle of a city of terrorists, did not promise the grieving
father that his son's killers would pay. She promised him that the man who
offended his son's killers would pay. Not only would his son be the first
casualty of that appeasement policy, but the Constitution that his son had
sworn to support and defend would be the second casualty.

2013. In the U.S., in a survey released at the
end of 2012, almost half of the Muslims in America said that they thought
parodies of Muhammad should be subject to criminal prosecution. One in eight
thought that insulting Islam should be a death penalty offense. Forty percent
said that they shouldn’t have to obey U.S. laws, but should be subject only to
Islamic law.
