Tahera Ahmad: Not Getting Diet Coke is Just Like Being Shot by Police
If you’re just joining us, Tahera Ahmad, a Muslim chaplain with connections to terrorist supporting Muslim clerics and groups, wanted a Diet Coke while flying United.
She got a Diet Coke, but she wanted it unopened. The flight attendant opened it for her.
So far, the pilot and the flight attendant both apologized to her, United Airlines apologized to her and fired the flight attendant.
The other flight attendants are being retrained to fulfill any ridiculous request made by a Muslim or face more Islamophobia hashtags and boycott threats.
The type of egotistical nutjob that would launch all this over a Diet Coke is just going to be further encouraged by all this to escalate the insanity to a new level.
So we have a Tahera Ahmad CAIR press conference in which she demands that United call this “discrimination” (which just coincidentally might prove helpful to any legal action) and claims that not getting an unopened Diet Coke is just like being shot by police.
No seriously.
“Ferguson happened, ‘black lives matter’ happened, and what is it these minority groups were saying? They were saying: understand my pain; understand my injustice. There is a lot of pain there,” she continued. “And I think that’s why this story resonates with so many people.”I think we should stop teaching about slavery, the Holocaust and 9/11 and just dedicate entire history semesters to teaching students about the time Tahera Ahmad didn’t get a Diet Coke.
Maybe we could build some sort of memorial, a giant opened Diet Coke, that Americans can visit and experience her pain. At taxpayer expense, of course.
And every year, on the anniversary of this terrible incident, we can hold memorial commemorations in which anyone who has ever had a Diet Coke will confess his Diet Coke privilege and feel Tahera Ahmad’s pain.
Oh by the way, ISIS and Boko Haram just massacred a few hundred more people. Not worth paying attention to.
Now if only ISIS had denied them a Diet Coke while beheading them.
