A COUPLE who have years of experience fostering refugees have spoken of their shock when the migrant “children” turned out to be fully-grown adults who's first request was for a razor.

A foster couple have revealed their experiences of 'child migrants' turning out to be adults
Sarah and Giles, using false names over fears of reprisals, say migrant children who claim to be 15 are actually in their mid-twenties and ask them for razors.

One migrant “child” who claimed to be a teenager reportedly told the pair: “You English are so stupid – I’m in my twenties.”
They added that flabbergasted GPs and dentists refused to treat the refugees as minors, with one elderly doctor allegedly telling the foster couple: “If that lad is 14, I am 23.”

Sarah described the farce when she and Giles were told to take in a 15-year-old boy from Albania.

She told the Daily Mail: “We were waiting in the corridor when we looked around and he had lit up a cigarette, which was not a great start.
“He had a shirt undone to his stomach and a gold medallion and winklepicker-type shoes.
“He lived with us for two years and went to school as a 15 and 16-year-old.

Philip Davies MP said pictures of the child migrants showed they were over 18

“But later we found a wage slip he had left lying around which showed he had been working.
“But he was using a different name complete with a National Insurance number.

“When he left us he laughed and said, ‘You English are so stupid – I’m in my twenties’.
“Ruefully, we had to agree with him – it felt like a slap in the face.
“We notified social services, but no action was taken.”
The couple say they are often asked to take in migrants who claim to be under 18.
Sarah said: “It usually starts in the night, with a call from a duty social worker who says, ‘The police have stopped a truck of migrants and one is claiming to be under 18. Can you take him?’
