FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ACT FOR AMERICA CALLS ON LINDA SARSOUR TO DENOUNCE SIRAJ WAHHAJ WASHINGTON, D.C., August 11, 2018 - ACT For America calls on Linda Sarsour to denounce Siraj Wahhaj, unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 WTC bombing, as well as his son, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, for court documents outlining Ibn Wahhaj's role in training children to commit school shootings. Siraj Ibn Wahhaj was arrested at a New Mexico compound and according to Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe, was "heavily armed with an AR15 rifle, five loaded 30 round magazines, and four loaded pistols, including one in his pocket when he was taken down." Also living in the terrorist compound were 11 children who were malnourished, with no fresh water, shoes, or personal hygiene. Siraj Wahhaj has a troublingly close relationship with Linda Sarsour. The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) has posted a video on YouTube where Sarsour praises Wahhaj saying, "I follow Imams who practice what they preach, like Imam Siraj Wahhaj." Ms. Sarsour's shocking praise of Wahhaj was alarming enough given his status as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing but - given his son's recent arrest for training children to commit school shootings - her silence and refusal to denounce both men, speaks volumes towards her own radicalism. Linda Sarsour also enjoys an explicitly close relationship with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), another unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist financing trial in world history, as well as a designated terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates. Given these revelations, any organization or media outlet serving as a platform for Sarsour should discontinue their relationship immediately.
