Hotel management complained of refugees taking naps in the lobby and blowing smoke in the faces of workers who asked the refugees to obey the non-smoking status of the hotels.
Managers said refugee men would get very upset when asked by staff to comply with hotel rules.
In one heavily redacted email, a manager says he was yelled at after advising refugees they would need to pay for toilets, windows and pipes they had damaged.
One government memo says clients had been washing their feet on the floor in the bathroom instead of using the tub, and the clients are not using the shower curtains.
But that's not where the disrespect for these beleaguered housekeepers ended. The same memo detailed an incident with a housekeeper who said she felt intimidated by a male refugee when she was washing the bathroom on her hands and knees as he stood over her and stared.
The next day, the hotel sent a male housekeeper to clean the room, but he was denied entry because the refugee’s wife was inside.
Yet another memo reads “there is a need for specific sessions for men and cultural and gender sensitivity to address recurring issues between female hotel staff and some men/ boys. These recurring issues have caused the hotel to change their own internal protocols.“
Self-avowed feminist Trudeau imported a lot of misogyny that poor underprivileged, working class women were forced to handle.
Tomorrow, I’ll share with you how parents left their refugee children alone and unmonitored in dangerous situations at these hotels.
