Well, that depends. When petitions are backed up by a real grassroots network, which is what ACT! for America has, you definitely can get Congress to pay attention. Check out the letter we received recently from Congressman Frank Wolf, the sponsor of H. Res 36, which calls for a special select committee to investigate the Benghazi attack.
