CAIR
Asks United States Marine Corps to “Drop Islamophobic, Anti-Arab Books From
Reading List.”
The Council on American Islamic Relations issued a press release titled: CAIR Asks Marine Corps to Drop Islamophobic, Anti-Arab Books From Reading List. The press release states in part: The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today called on the United States Marine Corps to drop two Islamophobic and anti-Arab books from a recommended reading list on its official website. CAIR asked the Marine Corps to remove any reference to and perceived endorsement of the factually-incorrect and Islamophobic books, “The Truth About Muhammad: The Founder of the World’s Most Intolerant Religion,” by Robert Spencer, and “The Arab Mind,” by Raphael Patai from the Marine Corps University Research Library website’s Military Reading Lists page, which links to the “HQMC Civilian Marine Reading Lists.” CAIR Government Affairs Director Robert McCaw wrote a letter to Marine Corps Commandant General Robert B. Neller that presented propaganda regarding the two authors in its quest to have the two books removed from Marine Corps readership. Why would the United States Marine Corp listen to an organization that is linked to Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood and terrorist activists including half a dozen of CAIR’s own former leaders who were charged and/or sentenced to prison for supporting terrorist activities? Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send that counters CAIR’s demand that the United States Marine Corps intentionally limit its knowledge on issues regarding national security. To send your email, please click the following link, enter your name and email address then click the "Send Your Message" button. You may also edit the subject or message text if you wish. Click here to send your email to encourage Marine Corps Commandant General Robert B. Neller to ignore terror linked CAIR’s absurd request.
