A few rich leftists decided to lie as if they were dead outside the White House in support of their belief that ISIS should be allowed to kill as many Christians and Yazidis as it wants without American interference.

I’m not sure how fake deaths trump real deaths in the moral calculus of the morally retarded like Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin.

Five demonstrators today shut down a checkpoint at the White House, days after an intruder scaled a fence.
One man held up a sign that read: “THERE IS NO MILITARY SOLUTION.” Four others played dead on the sidewalk in front of the northwest checkpoint along Pennsylvania Avenue.

If WW2 proved anything, it’s that military solutions don’t work. If only we had negotiated more with that nice Mr. Hitler.

“When will we realize war is the worst thing we can possibly do?” one protester yelled.

Our war is worse than their war. It’s fine when ISIS kills non-Muslims. But it’s horrifyingly evil when we kill ISIS.

The protest organizer, Campaign Nonviolence, describes itself as a group “committed to nonviolent social change … representatives of organizations that normally do not have a voice and have little influence in the places of power in Washington DC.

Poor non-influential folks like wealthy leftist Medea Benjamin of Code Pink, a group of terrorist supporters with an all-access pass to Washington.

Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin, who like Swanson was not arrested, said Obama’s justification for the current U.S. military campaign “sounds like George Bush all over again.”

Code Pink’s co-founder Jodie Evans is an Obama bundler.

Activist David Swanson said the airstrikes are an irrational, fear-driven response to the beheading of two American journalists by the Islamic State group.

Which part of killing the terrorists who are killing Americans is “irrational”? Irrational is insisting that self-defense doesn’t work.

“War is terrorism,” said John Dear of Campaign Nonviolence, who was among those arrested. “Of course we’re against this stupid bombing of Syria and Iraq.”
Dear, a Roman Catholic priest, said “peaceful means are the only path to a peaceful future.”

Dear is welcome to test this theory by going to Iraq and trying to peacefully prevent Christians from being murdered. Until he’s willing to do that, he can stop trying to take the moral high ground while hiding behind the soldiers who keep him safe.
