EU: Politicizing the Internet

EU: Politicizing the Internet

  • Even before such EU-wide legislation, similar ostensible "anti-terror legislation" in France, for example, is being used as a political tool against political opponents and to limit unwanted free speech.
  • In France, simply spreading information about ISIS atrocities is now considered "incitement to terrorism". It is this kind of legislation, it seems, that the European Commission now wishes to impose on all of the European Union.
  • Social media giants -- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Microsoft, Google+ and Instagram -- act as voluntary censors on behalf of the European Union.
  • The European Commission states that it is specifically interested in funding projects that focus on the "development of technology and innovative web tools preventing and countering illegal hate speech online and supporting data collection", and studies that analyze "the spread of racist and xenophobic hate speech in different Member States..."
The European Union seems fixated, at least for the internet, on killing free speech. And social media giants -- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Microsoft, Google+ and Instagram -- act as voluntary censors on behalf of the EU. (Image source: iStock)
In March, the European Commission -- the unelected executive branch of the European Union -- told social media companies to remove illegal online terrorist content within an hour -- or risk facing EU-wide legislation on the topic. This ultimatum was part of a new set of recommendations that applies to all forms of supposedly "illegal content" online. This content ranges "from terrorist content, incitement to hatred and violence, child sexual abuse material, counterfeit products and copyright infringement."
While the one-hour ultimatum was ostensibly only about terrorist content, the following is how the European Commission presented the new recommendations at the time:

INSANITY: Illegal Border Crossers File Human Rights Complaint Demanding Taxpayer-Funded Childcare Benefits

INSANITY: Illegal Border Crossers File Human Rights Complaint Demanding Taxpayer-Funded Childcare Benefits

How the hell can that even be allowed?

If people enter Canada illegally, they have broken our law and committed a criminal act.
As such, they obviously shouldn’t be able to utilize our justice system against our own country.
And yet, that’s exactly what’s happening.
Two illegal border crossers (or ‘asylum seekers’ as the corrupt and destructive establishment media calls them), have filed an insane ‘human rights complaint,’ alleging that their so-called rights are being violated because they can’t get access to taxpayer-funded childcare benefits.
They complain that without the benefits, they’ll have to stay at home.
Vladimyr Mathieu and his wife – who are originally from Haiti and entered Canada illegally from the United States – say it’s unfair that they can’t get subsidized daycare in Quebec. Astoundingly, some radical leftist groups are actually helping them try and extract those taxpayer benefits, representing them for their complaints and arguing in their favour.
One group even said that helping the illegal crossers is ‘exactly what subsidized daycare was meant for.’
Of course, that’s total garbage.

Government services are supposed to go only towards citizens, and those with legal status in the country.

If someone is in Canada illegally, how the hell can they have any right to get taxpayer-funded benefits?
Have things really turned that upside down in this country that people who violate our laws are allowed to then turn around and file complaints against the very country in which they are illegally residing?
This only further shows how disgustingly pathetic and weak the entire bureaucracy and establishment have become, and how the Trudeau government is allowing our country and our citizens to be taken advantage of by lawbreakers.

Sanctuary Cities - for Whom?

Sanctuary Cities - for Whom?

  • Kathryn Steinle's last words were, "Dad, help me, help me." But her dad could not help her. It was up to us to help her by keeping the streets as safe as possible. We did not. We used up all our sympathy on those who do not deserve it, leaving none for those who do deserve it. We made a "sanctuary city" that was safe for José Inés García Zárate, but extremely unsafe for his victim, Kathryn Steinle.

There are many reasons that citizens vote for a candidate. Blue-collar families often vote for the one who will bring back manufacturing jobs. Military families often vote for the one who will leave no man behind. For me, public safety is a primary consideration. People have a finite amount of sympathy. I'm sure Mother Teresa had more than I do, but even hers was not unlimited. Wisely, she spent hers for the poor. But many people are not wise. They spend their sympathy on illegal immigrants and criminals, leaving none for law-abiding citizens. Take, for instance, the cases of Sarah McKinley and Kathryn Steinle.
Sarah McKinley was home with her three-month-old son on New Year's Eve 2013. She lived in the rural community of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and police response times tended to be long. She was an 18-year-old widow. Her husband had died of cancer a few days earlier.

Norway showers awards and honors on Muslim migrant writer who regularly trashes Norway

Norway showers awards and honors on Muslim migrant writer who regularly trashes Norway

Death wish chic.

“Norway Fetes Young Muslim Refugee Writer for Trashing Norway,” by Bruce Bawer, PJ Media, September 18, 2018:
…there are plenty of new Trojan horses. One of them is a hijab-wearing young woman named Sumaya Jirde Ali. Born in 1997, she came to Norway from Somalia at age six. Two years ago, she stepped onto the national stage with an opinion piece in Aftenposten. She had just been in London, and was impressed by the “diversity” on display there. By contrast, she charged, Norway is way behind. “During the last few decades Norway has become more multicultural,” she wrote. “Why is it that in 2016, there aren’t more non-ethnic Norwegians in advertisements, movies, magazines, and in government agencies?” She maintained that “for integration to work, it must go both ways. It’s not enough for immigrants to adapt.”
No, there was nothing new about it. By 2016, her argument was an embarrassing cliché, a platitude. But in 21st century Norway, the cultural elite eats this sort of thing up, at least if it’s under the byline of a teenage girl in a hijab. If Sumaya had written a piece about how grateful she was to have been brought up in a free and prosperous Norway rather than in her native Somalia, would Aftenposten even have published it? No, too sappy. And anti-African! What if she’d submitted an article critical of female genital mutilation in her community? Or honor killing? No, that’s old hat. But her familiar whining about insufficient Muslim visibility in today’s Norway was right up their alley.
Sumaya wrote more pieces. Last year came an item headlined “Muslim on your premises? Never.” Complaining that her devotion to Islam is too often associated in Norway “with something negative,” she wanted readers to know that “I am not your socially constructed phenomenon. I am myself.” She insisted that her wearing of a hijab has nothing to do with obedience, that she is “not obliged to follow or like all the rules/norms of my own religion,” and that the Koran teaches all this. Which led one to wonder: does she really believe this, or is she consciously trying to present infidel Norway with a picture of Islam that makes this totalitarian religion look like Episcopalianism?
Whatever the case may be, Sumaya has been handsomely rewarded for her slight, shallow, and (frankly) semi-literate writings. Last year the local newspaper in her home city, Bodø, named her “Bodø Resident of the Year,” calling her “an incredibly important voice for very many young women.” In January of this year she won the Zola Prize, presented annually to “people who openly and fearlessly have uncovered or opposed threats to human value, democracy, and the rule of law in Norway.” Jury foreman Karl Eldar Evang compared her to James Baldwin, while noting that another commentator had likened her to the 1950s actor James Dean. Since there is no conceivable comparison between Sumaya and James Dean, presumably this was simply one idiot’s way of saying that Sumaya is cool.
The awards kept coming. A month after Sumaya picked up the Zola Prize, the Oslo weekly Natt & Dag named her “Voice of the Year.” In an interview, she told Natt & Dag that if she were the prime minister of Norway her first action would be to cut out government support to Human Rights Service — a small Oslo think tank that has carried out important research on such subjects as forced marriage, female genital mutilation, and honor killings in the Muslim community. Upon being awarded the Natt & Dag prize at a public ceremony, Sumaya shouted “Fuck Listhaug!” The reference was to Sylvi Listhaug, the popular ex-integration minister who, among other politically incorrect statements, had expressed concern that the Swedish phenomenon of “no-go zones” would spread to Norway. This was not the first time Sumaya had publicly used the four-letter English-language word: she had previously tweeted “Fuck diplomatic debate: Fuck the police.”
Last month, Morgenbladet, a political and cultural weekly along the lines of the New York Review of Books, made Sumaya a regular columnist….

Andrew Gillum's Florida Jihad - Democrat Socialist Candidate for Governor

September 28, 2018

Andrew Gillum's
Florida Jihad

The United West launches its exposé into Florida's Democrat (Socialist) candidate for Governor,
and his ties to anti-Israel organizations.

The United West will be producing short video documentaries to show Andrew Gillum’s Florida Jihad. A Jihad on the establishment to radicalize Florida, not a physical attack, but an ideological fight for 20 million Florida citizens.  We will be looking at Andrew Gillum’s policies, who his supporters are, and what he believes is good for Florida.   Some of those beliefs are:  Open borders and getting rid of ICE.  His supporters such as CAIR and the Socialist group called Dream Defenders, that may be brought into the Andrew Gillum administration should he win the FL Governorship!

The United West will show you Andrew Gillum’s associates that are right out of the PLO, literally!  Associates that are part of the "Gillum family”.

We will show you how he is also playing both sides of the Jewish big money and the Jew haters as well.  We will expose Andrew Gillum for who and what he really is and his plans for Florida!

From the article in the READ MORE button below:

The two
leading individual donors to Gillum’s 2018 campaign have been George Soros and another left-wing billionaire, Tom Steyer. Scarcely two weeks ago, Soros, who already had contributed $1 million to Gillum’s Forward Florida political committee, announced that he was giving $250,000 more. And Steyer, who had previously funneled $500,000 to Forward Florida, pledged another $300,000.

Will  YOU stand against this dangerous radicalization being planned for Florida?
