ISIS cleric known as 'Butcher of Nineveh' leads executions and tops dissidents' most-wanted list

ISIS cleric known as 'Butcher of Nineveh' leads executions and tops dissidents' most-wanted list

The evil cleric, who is in his 60s, has signed death warrants and presided over the executions of dozens of locals in the Iraqi province of Raqqa

Callous: The Butcher of Nineveh reads out ‘crimes’
Brave undercover dissidents are building a dossier of ‘Most Wanted’ ISIS terrorists – with ‘the Butcher of Nineveh’ top of the list.

His long white beard and black robes have marked him out at a string of public executions in Raqqa.
The evil cleric, who is in his 60s, has signed death warrants of dozens of locals in the Iraqi province.
They stood accused of a string of supposed “crimes” such as homosexuality, adultery, banditry and spying.

Like a dark angel of death, the cleric calmly reads out the offences.

As the victims, frequently bound and blindfolded, stand awaiting their fate, he then coldly gives the orders for both men and women to be executed in public.

Most cowardly IS executioners cover their faces, but the radical – implementing punishments under strict Sharia law – has made no effort to hide his identity.

Horrific: Murder of gay man by ISIS

In three recent horrific death sentences, he presided as a woman was stoned to death in a wooded glade for adultery.

In a square - believed to be in Mosul - two men were crucified and then shot in the back of the head for banditry as he looked on.

Another three males were beheaded with a giant scimitar-like sword for alleged homosexuality with the cleric by their side.

The group ‘Raqqa is being Slaughtered Silently’ is recording wherever possible to bring those responsible to justice once IS has been removed.

“We are trying to identify ISIS butchers across Syria and Iraq for the time when we are free from their tyranny and justice can be brought,” said one dissident.

“Most of the ISIS are cowards who cover their faces and cannot be identified but this man doesn’t and one day, God willing, he will answer for his crimes.

"We only know him now as the Butcher of Nineveh but soon we will know his full identity.”

They are scouring social media, and images handed in by fellow dissidents to identify those behind the executions, with some Britons believed to be among them.

Dozens more people have had hands chopped off in public for theft at the cleric’s behest.

He is also believed to have ordered that three men be thrown from a tall building in the city of Mosul for being gay.

A monitoring team at the United Nations is also building a list of alleged war crimes carried out in the region by ISIS.

More than 200,000 civilians have been killed during the conflict and millions of people have fled to neighbouring countries.

Many other people have been tortured and raped.

In a report, UN four commissioners carrying out the probe into atrocities said: “Missed humanitarian opportunities have been aggravated by the exponential rise in the perpetration of war crimes, crimes against humanity and human rights violations.”
