When I think of the proposed mosques at Ground Zero, I think of the above……for starters.
The idea of the Twin Towers towering and overshadowing the icon of Islam is a good way of illustrating that our way of life always has and always will tower above their own.
To those who don’t know, the black box being overshadowed in the above image is called the Kaaba, located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and felt by Muslims to be the most sacred site on earth. Ground Zero itself is considered to be “sacred ground” by most Americans, and New Yorkers in particular. Since our elected officials have decided to hold Islam above America in all ways big and small since 9/11, it’s up to the American people to stop the bastards from getting away with yet another attack on New York.
