The
rules are fairly straightforward. Muslims are allowed to do anything they like
because interfering with them might rile them up. And non-Muslims are only
allowed to praise Islam because otherwise Muslims might get riled up.There is
no standard of behavior. Only a security concept that stakes everything on not
riling Muslims up. And that means free speech goes by the wayside.
Conversions to Islam by David Solway
With
the growing phenomenon of conversion, Islam is virtually assured of subverting
vast segments of Western social, cultural and political life. Indeed, as if to
rub salt into the wound, Islamic speakers are increasingly hosted in our
auditoriums, public venues and places of worship while those who oppose the
surrender of our rights and liberties to an alien and hostile creed are
vigorously repudiated.
Belgium
Erasing Christianity for Islam
Six Belgian senators introduced a draft resolution in the
Belgian Parliament that would make "Islamophobia" a crime punishable
by fines and imprisonment. A person would be guilty if he "considers Islam
to be violent, threatening or supportive of terrorism…" or "considers
Islam to be a political ideology, used for political and military purposes to
establish it hegemony." If passed, the law would pose a devastating blow
to the exercise of free speech in Belgium.
UK: The
Crisis of Female Genital Mutilation
FGM
is endemic in Muslim-majority countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle
East. Three million girls between infancy and age 15 are subject to FGM every
year, and it is believed that 140 million women worldwide are suffering from
the lifelong consequences of the practice.
Somebody has to be the first to say it. It’s time, for the
sake of the security of the United States of America, to immediately suspend
Muslim immigration, to preclude Muslims from service in our military and to
stop the building of mosques.
CAIR Openly Attacks Moderate Muslim
Group
There’s
a power struggle in the Muslim world— between the moderates and the Islamists,
including in America — and CAIR intends to win.
The
Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is yet again undermining its own
“moderate” credentials by slamming its Muslim rivals (and true moderates) for
being part of an “Islamophobia” network and exposing its own Islamist agenda in
the meantime.
Time to
Derail the Saudi "Visa Express" by Clare Lopez
Preferential, fast-lane treatment for Saudi visa applicants
should be considered on a reciprocal basis, with verifiable Saudi progress in
stopping funding for Wahhabi-Salafist mosque construction; Salafist and Muslim
Brotherhood-affiliated imams; anti-Semitic, anti-Christian and anti-West
curriculum materials and jihadi fighters everywhere on Sharia battlefields.
