Pentagon Official Confirms: Obama Leaked THIS Top Secret to the Islamic State

If anyone believes any longer that President Barack Obama is motivated by anything other than politics, they must not be paying attention.

Immediately following news of the shooting down of a Malaysian Air jet than killed almost two dozen Americans, Obama continued his prepared speech, including jokes, and then proceeded to attend two fundraising events in New York. Fearing backlash from American Muslims, he persistently refuses to denounce radical Islam or even refer to the “Islamic State,” calling the group “ISIS” instead. And after the barbaric beheading of American journalist James Foley, he made a political promise to be “relentless” in tracking down those responsible before proceeding to demonstrate his relentlessness by playing golf with a Wall Street insider.

Now a new report argues that President Obama’s playing politics may result in more American deaths overseas.

A “ranking Department of Defense official” writing anonymously for The Daily Caller says that a White House leak of details surrounding “a classified special forces operation to rescue American hostages in Syria” will jeopardize any such attempts in the future.

The writer says that details of the failed raid were kept under wraps because American intelligence officials believed that neither Syria nor the Islamic State was aware that it had been carried out by U.S. forces.

The Obama administration’s decision to leak the details about the raid has “reduced the chances for a successful second rescue attempt, and has likely increased the risk to the lives of the hostages” still held by the Islamic State, according to the report. The writer argues that future attempts will be more dangerous to the men and women carrying them out, as well.

“Details of the failed raid were leaked by senior White House officials earlier that day after the Obama administration came under intense scrutiny” about its inability to secure James Foley’s release prior to his execution, the writer says.

In other words, the leak had exactly one purpose driving it. Not reassuring the Foley family, which could have been done privately. Not transparency to the American people; this president talks a good game in that arena, but that’s all. And certainly not national security, which the leak clearly violated.
The purpose was “to provide political cover for President Barack Obama” against claims that he had failed to protect American interests–and lives–from the Islamic State.

As a result, the writer concludes, “someone should be fired.”

We agree. Specifically, we suggest the man in whose office the buck supposedly stops.
