Officials 'tried to erase rape' from Cologne NYE report

Shortly after the attacks in many cities in 6 countries where Muslim molestation, rape, robbery and groping took place, it was revealed on Polish TV that the German government had ordered CCTV video of the Cologne train station, where the worst attack took place, to be ERASED

Today, from The Local, this has surfaced:

  A chief superintendent in the Cologne police told the investigative committee established in the wake of the attacks that the interior ministry in North Rhine-Westphalia had sought to influence the investigations.
The officer explained that an official from the ministry had called about a rape charge mentioned in an internal police report.
"That isn’t rape. Get rid of it. Delete the report," the ministry official said, according to the chief superintendent.
The rape report was made by a young woman who alleges she was surrounded by a group of around 50 men, some of whom pushed their fingers inside of her.
When he complained about the caller’s angry and abrupt tone, the official replied "these are the orders from the ministry. I’m simply passing them on."
The 52-year-old chief inspector said that he had never in his career experienced an intervention of this nature from the ministry.

 The rest is equally damning.

One of the questions that might be asked in cases like this is what constitutes a totalitarian government? Does it have to be black uniforms and Siberian reeducation camps? Or can it be forcing the public to make bad choices for its own interests based on information control.
Reeducation can be done via state TV and workplace, as well as social ostracism as we see in Canada as well as Germany.
The second form of soft totalitarianism is actually far worse.
It doesn't leave marks that can drive people to revolution. But when the state media is used to push a narrative by careful edits, invention of details or more commonly, the deletion of crucial facts of an event, you have a more effective kind of totalitarianism that tends to cause less outrage.
 Today in Germany, Lutz Bachmann, the leader of PEGIDA Germany, was fined  9,600 EUR (11,516.00 USD/14,016.00CAD) for saying things the German state didn't like. A translation of part of an article about the conviction and fine from Die Welt:

Pegida-founder Lutz Bachmann was sentenced to a fine of 9,600 EUR (11,516.00 USD/14,016.00CAD) for "Volksverhetzung" (incitement of the people/hate speech) by the district court Dresden on tuesday.

Pegida-Gründer Lutz Bachmann has been sentenced by the district court Dresden for "Volksverhetzung" (incitement of the people/hate speech) to a fine of 9,600 Euro (or 120 daily fines in lieu of jail time of 80 Euro). The head of the islam- and refugee-adversed association is said to have denigrated refugees, and to have incited hatred towards them, in comments on facebook.

So the German government knowingly and deliberately falsified data in order to preserve one side of a narrative on mass Muslim migration they know the German people would hate if they knew the truth of it, while levying large fines on a German citizen for saying things about the other side of an important issue, one which is central to democracy.

Even though what Bachmann said may have been true.

Keep an eye on Parliament Hill. A tactic this powerful and effective cannot go unnoticed by someone who thinks doing pushups is the way to present the office of Prime Minister.
