This week we were reminded of the power of the Internet and social media. This is particularly the case with current events. It has been impossible to log onto twitter, facebook, youtube or any website without seeing endless images and debate over the Gaza flotilla. We all witnessed the events unfold, as they were unfolding.
The importance of social media is undeniable. This is why at RadicalIslam.org we are making an effort to encourage you, our activists, to get online and get active. You’ll notice on the top of every page of our site, a link to facebook, twitter and youtube. This means that keeping up-to-date is easier than ever.
We’d also like you to “like” our content which will help get important messages out to your facebook friends. Our Take Action item of the week is using our new community forum, so that you can join the conversation and help spread the word about events that are raising awareness and fighting radical Islam.
As always, your feedback and suggestions are extremely important. Any comments you have are greatly appreciated – emails can be sent to info@radicalislam.org, or by simply replying to this newsletter.
Thank you for your ongoing support!

Dwight Eisenhower received a Muslim delegation. Said Ramadan stood at right, clasping papers.
Deploying an Islamist may have seemed like a original and clever idea but it was neither… |
No Such Thing as Islamic Terrorism?
By Deborah Weiss |
Against President Obama’s backdrop of bowing to the Saudi King, berating Israel, Mirandizing terrorists, and voluntarily reducing US nuclear capabilities, the United States Administration has now made a decision to ban words such as “jihad” and “Islamic extremism” from the US National Security Strategy.
