SRO IN TEXAS

FOR THE MIGHTY ATLAS!!!!! LADY YOU ROCK!!!

SRO IN TEXAS

DSC00767

The quisling cowards at the Hyatt Place Sugar Land caved to intimidation, but that didn't stop freedom lovers from coming to hear me speak . The event was held at the Sugar Land Community Center, and the house was packed. Hundreds came out to hear what the sharia forbids -- the truth. It was an amazing evening. I was struck by the number of apostates (former Muslims) in the house. Gd bless Texas!

More in the AM.

But who was leading the anti-Geller protests outside the venue? Farha Ahmed, the lawyer for chemical weapons jihadist Lady Al Qaeda. Ahmed is trying to infiltrate the Republican party by running for office. Ahmed ran for Sugar Land City Council District 4 but was defeated, thanks to great Americans who alerted Texans to the subversive politician in their midst. Ahmed lied about her involvement in the Lady Al Qaeda case. Despite the craven quisling government officials like the DA, who wrote glowing letters to their constituents endorsing the stealth jihadist candidate Ahmed, and the fact that her terror-tied alliances were scrubbed from the web, she was defeated. But remember, the enemy never sleeps and never quits. So she will be back. Tonight she protested free speech under the sign, "Republicans Hate Bigotry." Stealth, baby, stealth.

UPDATE: Great American Susan Watts reported this:

What a great event! The room was full. There were Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and even a couple of Muslims in attendance! Pamela spoke eloquently on the dangers of sharia law, and the necessity of resisting sharia law, while welcoming ALL people of good will to our country, Muslims included. Most interesting bit- one of the young Muslim men went to the microphone to ask Pamela a question- they ended up having a nice back and forth conversation. I spoke with this young man afterward. I asked him what he thought of the meeting- he said it was good. He felt comfortable in the room- I’d noticed many people coming up to him to shake his hand before I reached him. Imagine that! No bigotry or hatred on display, but rather folks going out of their way to welcome this young Muslim man. I asked him about the content of Ms. Geller’s speech. He said he agreed with her, and that it was obvious she does not have a hateful bone in her body. He said some of his friends were out front protesting, and he wished that they had come in to see for themselves what the meeting was about. Well done Sugar Land Tea Party!

Hotel Cancels Tea Party Event on Islam: MyFoxHOUSTON.com

On Tuesday night Geller had an extra message for her supporters: "boycott" the Hyatt Place Houston Sugar Land hotel for canceling the tea party's reservation there. "I think it's reprehensible, the restriction of free speech, because that's what we're talking about," Geller said. Geller is a longtime critic of Muslim causes. She's been accused of promoting Islamophobia and Muslim hate speech on her blog and at events. "I think she's telling the truth," said Bill Moore, the Sugar Land Tea Party president. Moore believes the hotel succumbed to pressure. "I think we're seeing this more and more in America, our freedom of speech being oppressed," he said. Jamie Zimmerman, a Hyatt representative, issued the following statement: "Hyatt PlaceHouston/Sugar Land respects the various opinions expressed by our guests and visitors. In this particular situation, the changing security needs required for the safety of our guests and others on the hotel property and to avoid business disruption prompted us to ask the organizers to move it to an alternate location. We are pleased that the organizers were able to identify a venue better equipped to provide services to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved with the event."

== Protesters Say ‘No Room for Hate’ ==

A few dozen protesters outside the event's new location chanted "No Room For Hate," and held signs.

"I want to make sure I let people know Sugar Land is a great place to live. We respect diversity," said Qaisar Iman, one of the protesters.

"We don't stand for what they stand for. That's a minority, no doubt. That's a minority," said Deron Patterson, co-founder of the Sugar Land Democrat Club.

Gellar's supporters say they're strong in their belief that Islamic law is a threat to the American way of life.

"I'm not bashing Muslims. I'm not bashing people. I love people. It's why I do what I do. I'm opposing the most radical and extreme ideology on the face of the earth," Geller said.

UPDATE: WND covers attack on free speech here.

A Hyatt hotel in Sugar Land, Texas, has abruptly canceled a previously scheduled tea-party event at which author andAtlas Shrugs founder Pamela Geller was scheduled to speak on the dangers of Islam.

Geller said the decision came about because the hotel was "intimidated" into censoring her planned speech by "CAIR thugs," referring to the controversial Islamic advocacy group Council on American-Islamic Relations.

She accused the Hyatt Place of enforcing Islamic law, or Shariah, under which no criticism of Islam is allowed. In Muslim nations, it can be a death penalty offense, Geller noted.

Tea-party backers, then, were forced to find another location, the Sugar Land Community Center, on virtually no notice, Geller said.

"Free speech, the cornerstone of our constitutional republic, is in serious jeopardy," Geller reported today after being informed of the sudden change. "Under the Shariah, criticism of Islam is blasphemy (punishable by death in Muslim countries). This is the death of free speech in the continuing Islamization of America."

A Hyatt employee in Sugar Land, who identified himself only as Brandon, told WND the abrupt change was a "business" decision. But when asked about the links between CAIR and terror, he slammed the phone down.

"I will never stay at a Hyatt Place again. Ever," wrote Geller.

"Hyatt Place Houston/Sugar Land received a couple of threatening calls and they surrendered to Islamic supremacists without even firing a shot," she said. (Read the rest here)
