Taliban to ISIS: “Let’s create a second front in Afghanistan”

Western media reports that the Taliban and ISIS were in conflict with each other are not accurate: “Iran and ISIS are actively recruiting Islamic fighters from almost all over the Caucuses and bring them to Taliban/ISIS training camps in Pakistan.”

According to American human rights activist Blake Parker, a letter was written by Haj Mullah Akhbar Mohammed Mansour of the Taliban to ISIS terror leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, calling upon ISIS to cooperate with the Taliban in Afghanistan: “Presently, there are plans for another ISIS front in Afghanistan. This will be bad for Afghanistan, Iraq, and regional security. Iran and ISIS are actively recruiting Islamic fighters from almost all over the Caucuses and bringing them to Taliban/ISIS training camps in Pakistan.”

This report contrasts with mainstream western reporting on Taliban-ISIS relations. Previously, it was reported that the two terror groups were in conflict with each other. Fox News reported that many Taliban commanders were concerned about the rise of ISIS within the country, as many disaffected Taliban terrorists have been joining ISIS. Some western reports claimed that the two terror groups have declared jihad against each other, with reports being published of clashes registered between ISIS and the Taliban. It was published that Baghdadi has previously referred to Taliban terror leader Mullah Mohammed Omar as “a fool and illiterate warlord,” while Taliban members were warned not to raise ISIS flags in Afghanistan.

Blake stresses that the situation is not what the western media claims: “The ISIS beheading of Taliban resisters to ISIS in Afghanistan was mostly misreported by mainstream media. Taliban & ISIS work very closely through the Council of Leaders (al-Qaeda Islamists) with assistance from Iran. Qassam Solemaini called David Petraeus years ago when he was still in Afghanistan and told Petraeus that the USA was not in charge in Afghanistan. Iran was and will continue to be into the future.”

These reports come as there are calls within Canada from the Liberal Party to stop bombing ISIS in Iraq and Syria as well as to restore diplomatic relations with Iran. The Liberal Party in Canada stressed that if they win the next federal elections within the country, they would refuse to commit to ground troops to fight against ISIS, even though ISIS controls huge chunks of Syria and Iraq. Meanwhile, US President Barack Obama promises to have US troops withdraw completely from Afghanistan by 2017 and continues to promote a nuclear deal with Iran that would ease the sanctions against the country, despite Iran’s ties to ISIS and the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Following the calls made by the Liberal Party in Canada, Iranian human rights activist Shabnam Assadollahi had harsh words for anyone who seeks to withdraw from and appease rather than confront the radical Islamists.  “Obviously, the Liberal Party of Canada have not done their homework about the danger of having a political relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the most dangerous regime in the world,” she stated. “Had the liberals done their homework, they would have never considered an action of this nature. Ignorance is an excusable justification for any political action.”

"ISIS, the Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Iranian regime, Boko Haram, and Jabhat Al Nusra are all the same in my opinion," Assadollahi stressed.  "They are only competing with each other to take power in the Middle East and North Africa.  Their next step is to export their political Islam and terrorism to the West."
