Canada: Imam says “there is no difference between Islamophobes and terrorists”
Today the imam Syed Soharwardy, who denounced me when I spoke in Calgary Thursday, posted this on his Facebook page:
Note the bit about how the CIA created the Islamic State, al-Qaeda and the Taliban. But by far the best element of his nifty piece of victimhood propaganda is his claim that “there is no difference between the Islamophobes and the terrorists. Both have more in common than differences.”
The learned imam doesn’t mention it, but in fact there is one slight difference: there have been 28,254 murderous jihad attacks since September 11, 2001. In that span, how many murderous terrorist attacks have been committed by “Islamophobes”? Right: none.
No difference!
This post by Soharwardy is a vivid illustration of the fact that the term “Islamophobia” is designed to intimidate people into thinking it wrong to resist jihad terror.
