Temple Terrace, Florida Mayor Joe Affronti, Sr. has accepted awards from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and United Voices for America (UVA), two organizations with ties to terrorism. CAIR was created by Hamas operatives and has been involved in financing Hamas, and UVA is headed by Ahmed Bedier, the former CAIR leader and former "unofficial spokesman" for Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist Sami al-Arian.
Americans Against Hate (AAH), the terrorism watchdog group, calls on Mayor Affronti to do the right thing and return the awards. Otherwise, he will be supporting terrorism.
