ISIS turns on Hamas in Gaza over its crackdown on extremists
ISLAMIC State (ISIS) terrorists have given the ruling Islamic Hamas movement in Gaza 48 hours to stop its crackdown on them.
Hamas, an Islamic militant group that has ruled Gaza since 2007, sees more radical groups as a threat.
But ISIS accuses Hamas as being soft on Israel and failing to impose religious law.
The ultimatum comes just a day after ISIS claimed responsibility for the assassination of a Hamas commander on the Gaza Strip on Sunday.
ISIS militants placed a bomb in the vehicle of Saber Siam and detonated it, according to local reports.
Hamas launched a crackdown on the Islamist extremists following a series of unclaimed bombings.
It has arrested dozens of ISIS supporters in recent weeks, including Imams, following the terror group's takeover of the Yarmouk Palestine refugee camp near Damascus.
ISIS considers Hamas "heretical", accusing the group of raging a war against religion.
