ALERT - CALL CONGRESS, STOP
REFUGEE INFLUX
|
STOP ANY
FUNDING TO BRING REFUGEES TO THE U.S. IN UPCOMING SPENDING BILL!
|
Yesterday, we
sent you a frightening news article detailing the arrest of an ISIS
terrorist who posed as an “asylum seeker” in Stuttgart, Germany. In
the same e-mail, we reminded you about our Refugee Resettlement Working
Group , comprised of patriots who are ready to roll up their
sleeves and get to work protecting our great nation against such
refugee infiltrators. If you have already signed up to
be a part of this group…thank you. If not, please join us today. We need all hands on deck before
it’s too late.
Secretary of
State John Kerry recently announced that the United States will
increase the number of refugees allowed to enter the country by 15,000 in
each of the next two years. That will bring a total of 100,000 refugees
by 2017. This
foolish decision poses a serious national security threat to the U.S.
Our nation has absolutely
no process in place to vet these refugees, never mind the resources to care
for them.
It doesn’t take
a rocket scientist to figure out that terror groups like ISIS will use
our broken refugee system to easily infiltrate our country. As yesterday’s
article demonstrated, they already are doing this in Germany.
Brigitte
Gabriel and the ACT for America team are now working side-by-side with
members of the U.S. Congress who want to address this refugee
resettlement threat and address it IMMEDIATELY.
Also, we have
launched a national media campaign on this important issue, going on Fox
News, News Max, Fox Business, as well as top 100 radio talk shows --
nationally reaching millions about the refugee resettlement issue.
But we need
your help, as well.
The first step: Stop any refugee funding in the upcoming
continuing resolution.
The United
States Congress is getting ready to vote on a bill to temporarily
continue funding federal programs and agencies. It’s called a
“Continuing Resolution” or “CR.” The
plan is to include money to bring these refugees into our country in
this next “CR.”
It’s time to shut down the phone lines in the U.S. Congress.
We need you to
call your federal legislators TODAY
with the following brief but important message (see more details below):
“I want no
funding to bring Syrian refugees into the U.S. included in the upcoming
continuing resolution. Not one cent.”
Some further
information about WHY
we are asking you to send this important message to your legislators:
- Syrian
Refugees pose an existential national security threat to the U.S.
- According
to the FBI, Syrians cannot be vetted for any connections to
terrorism. James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence, has
stated that Syrian refugees are “a huge concern.”
- ISIS and
other terrorist groups have promised to exploit this weakness and
claim to have 4,000 members already in Europe.
- The Gulf
States are not accepting any Syrian refugees, even though they
have the room, resources, finances, and common language. Their
stated reason? National Security Concerns!
- If the
U.S. Congress wishes to assist Syrian refugees, it should provide
resources to only those who remain in the Middle East.
Today's important and time sensitive action item!
- Please
take a moment TODAY to call YOUR federal legislator and the
members of the House and Senate leadership to relay your
opposition to any Syrian refugee funding in the CR. Click HERE to look up your
legislator's information and take action now.
Stay tuned for
more e-mails from ACT for America about how you can help with today’s
refugee resettlement problems.
And
again, PLEASE join our Refugee Resettlement Working group for even more
education and tools to address this important issue.
Remember, if each
of us does just a little, together, we will accomplish a lot.
Thank you!
