Let's see Trudeau "stare down" Putin over new Russian arctic military base

The day after Liberal leader Justin Trudeau won the Canadian federal election, Russia's Vladimir Putin sent him a "welcome message" of sorts.

He announced that Russia has established a massive arctic military base near the North Pole.

Putin says the North Pole is Russian territory and this gesture is part of that claim.

If the West wasn't going to kick Russia out of Ukraine, are really going to order them to leave the Arctic?

This matters because of the enormous mineral wealth below the surface; Russia is already drilling for oil there. What if they start doing the same in Canadian territory?

Trudeau claimed he'd stare down Putin. How? With his best "Zoolander" impression?
