Putin TAUNTS West for not getting results as he OBLITERATES dozens more ISIS targets
VLADIMIR Putin has taunted the West for not getting "results" after Russia claimed it has hit 55 more Islamic State (ISIS) targets in Syria.
GETTY•GETTYHowever, the Russian leader hit out at Western forces "who say they are fighting terrorism but do not demonstrate results".
But rebels on the ground claim the controversial Kremlin's airstrikes - along with ground attacks by forces loyal to Syrian tyrant Bashar al-Assad - have also targeted rebel groups not associated with ISIS.
Tensions between Russia and Western forces have increased since Putin announced an assault on rebels who have been trying to overthrow al-Assad.

Given the amount of military traffic in the air there is a real worry a plane will be shot down in a catastrophic misunderstanding of intent
Commanders fear a clash of military warplanes, drones, helicopters and missiles - which they say could spark a global war.
One military expert warned: “Rationalising such a complex airspace is not possible – like getting your mind round a Rubik’s Cube that moves around at Mach 1.5, then adding a dozen more.
"Given the amount of military traffic in the air there is a real worry a plane will be shot down in a catastrophic misunderstanding of intent. It means we could be seconds from a sudden escalation taking us to the very brink of war."
Dr Andrew Foxall, Russia expert at the Henry Jackson Society think tank, said even the slightest error could lead to a “diplomatic incident of catastrophic proportions”.
Dr Foxall's worry is that the conflict being fought by the anti-ISIS coalition troops against Russia's Assad-supporting forces could become an all-out war.
He warned: "Russia has a very different objective to the Nato coalition and the western drive for liberal democracy and regime change in Syria.
"The Kremlin’s primary interest is maintaining a pro-Russian regime in Syria."

Tensions increased as it was revealed yesterday that RAF pilots have been given the all clear to shoot down Russian military jets if they come under fire from one.
Panicked Russian officials asked UK ministers "to provide an official explanation" of reports that RAF Tornados operating over Iraq have been fitted with heat-seeking missiles designed for ariel combat.
