Nigel Farage: British Muslims face conflict between their faith and their country

BRITISH Muslims face a conflict of loyalty between their faith and the country, Nigel Farage will say tonight.

Mr Farage called for foreign contributions to British Mosques to be made 'fully transparent'
In a major speech in response to the Paris terror attacks, the Ukip leader will warn that the authorities needed to "win the battle of hearts and minds" within Muslim communities.
He will also call for a "complete rethink" in Western foreign policy following botched military interventions in Syria, Iraq and Libya.
Mr Farage's controversial remarks come in a public meeting in Basingstoke, Hants, held as part of his "Say No To EU" national tour.
Opinion polls had shown that the British Muslim population was "conflicted" in their loyalties, torn between the country's way of life and institutions against "what elements within their organised faith are telling them", the Ukip leader said.
He will call for more to be done to promote ideals such as equality, decency, tolerance and the rule of law "which are the bedrock of our civilisation".
Mr Farage will also call for a new drive to ensure that foreign contributions to British Mosques were made "fully transparent".
In particular, the way cash from Saudi Arabia was spent on building faith institutions and educational establishments in Britain should be investigated.
