Open letter to Trudeau’s Government regarding the Syrian refugees

One of PM Justin Trudeau’s election promises is set to be “fulfilled” in such a short time, less than 6 weeks. Christmas holiday is approaching but the Liberal government of Canada needs minimum of 1000 flights to fly 25.000 refugees.

From the most troubled region of the world over to Canada, the safest and the best country in the world. This huge number of Syrian Refugees is scheduled to arrive in Canada before January 2016 where 10.000 of them are coming to Ontario.

On Friday 13, 2015, five terrorist Islamist Jihadist, among them a recently arrived Syrian refugee viciously and mercilessly attacked Paris where they brutally killed more than 128 and injured over 180 innocent civilians. But the Liberal government of Canada, and it’s minister of safety and security Mr. Ralph Goodale still insist that Islamist terrorism is not a threat to Canada and they are securing our national security.

My few questions as a Canadian citizen and a human rights activist from the Liberal government of Canada:

Do we have enough manpower for that flood of refugees coming to our country to properly screen and assess them? ‎

What will happen to these refugees’ health and security screening?

Will they be screened prior to their arrival in Canada or will they be screened upon arrival?

What measures have been taken about their transportation from the airport to the bases?

Will the Liberal government of Canada guarantee safety, and security of Canadians and is the Liberal government of Canada willing to take any responsibility if jihadists are shuffled in among them to attack Canada?

Will the military be able to guard the refugees from leaving the bases, and prevent any attack and assault may occur to any refugees by the extremest Islamist refugees who maybe among them in the bases or preventing them from connecting with extremists already living in Canada?

How many well trained anti terrorism officers and health workers does Canada have to screen all these refugees per day?

Are we prepared to give the Syrian refugees proper orientations before they integrate into our communities?

Do we have enough shelters and housing to house them in?

Are the school boards ready to register the Syrian kids and have their vaccinations done?

Do we have enough assessment centers to assess their children before sending them to schools where they blend in with other kids in our schools‎?

Do we have enough vacant properties/ classes for the ESL/ LINC/ FSL adult learners to register them to learn English/ French languages?

Every refugee will cost taxpayers minimum of $100.000 until/ if he/she financially becomes independent in 5 years. Who is willing to pay the funds for 25.000 refugees where currently over 1,000,000 Canadians are without a job and not many are taxpayers?

There is absolutely no way to have the security check for refugees to be processed in 6 weeks and have the right refugees to be brought to Canada in such a short time, especially from such troubled area.

For each person immigrating / a refugee arriving in Canada, we need 3 inter-pole officers. Please Calculate 25000 x 3 … do we have enough manpower for this enormous number and in this short deadline?

I strongly believe that we are responsible to take on refugees, but we must be responsible to have this process done thoroughly and right and not to harm Canadians safety and security in any type and forms. Therefore, I am asking your government to immediately reverse your decision.

Thank you.
