This is now a trend. Where it goes from here, you can guess.

This cry for help from the people of the town on Facebook (via translation):

The Mayor of juvisy meets the prefect of the essonne Monday morning to renew with her our request of police reinforcements for our precinct. It has now been several weeks since we are circulating a petition addressed to the prefect of the essonne so that the police station at juvisy receives a portion of the extra staff promised by the minister cazeneuve in the aftermath of the attack at the molotov cocktail police officers to viry chatillon. Petition available online, several operations signatures on the market, to get out of the train station: we are only 1000 to date to have signed. Yet there is urgency: the attacks are multiplying
RT France reports:
About twenty hooded and armed youths ransacked an apartment, cars and building halls, terrorizing the inhabitants on their way, on the evening of 14 January. The police, under-staffed, arrived only 1:30 after the incident.
The city of Juvisy-sur-Orge in Essonne, was the scene of unprecedented violence according to its mayor Robin Reda (LR). On the night of Saturday, 14 to Sunday, 15 January, a hooded band, armed with iron bars, baseball bats and machetes, attempted to sack the apartment of a young man who watched helplessly , Her baby in her arms.
The people arrived by bus around 8 pm, and terrorized the inhabitants in their path, destroying about twenty cars and fracturing two doors of buildings. Interviewed by France Info, the mayor described the scene as a “true urban guerrilla”, adding that the inhabitants remained “traumatized, traumatized, in front of these tragic events”.

A GANG of up to 30 youths armed with axes, swords and baseball bats terrorised a southern Paris neighbourhood on Saturday night for “reasons that remain unclear,” French police said.

Eleven youths aged between 17 and 22 were arrested over the attacks and taken into custody. Their alleged accomplices, however, got away and are yet to be identified by police.
The masked attackers – who are said to have arrived by bus – ran amok in a residential area in Juvisy-sur-Orge, a tranquil suburb south of Paris, at around 8pm on Saturday.
But it took more than one hour for police to arrive at the scene, by which time the youths had smashed and vandalised more than 20 cars and broken down the door of a nearby apartment block.
Once inside the block of flats, they broke into a flat – which they ransacked – and “threatened to kill” a young father who had been watching television with his 16-month-old daughter when the mob stormed into his home.
They tried to kick the door down and I could hear them screaming ‘Let us in or we’re going to kill you!’

The terrified dad said: “There were more than 15 people outside my door. They tried to kick the door down and I could hear them screaming ‘Let us in or we’re going to kill you!’
“I tried to hide my daughter but it was too late. They stormed in brandishing axes, swords, and machetes. I braced myself for the worst.”

But police believe the youths broke into the wrong apartment and “targeted the wrong victim”.
Robin Reda, the right-wing mayor of Juvisy-sur-Orge, condemned the “urban guerrilla attack,” and said that the incident was probably linked to a “feud” between two rival gangs.
A stunned Mr Reda told the French daily Le Figaro that the attack was a “gratuitous act of violence,” and that Juvisy-sur-Orge locals had been left “shocked and traumatised”.
