With many family budgets stretched from high gas prices, high taxes, high unemployment, and a slowing economy, in addition to the current turmoil in town hall meetings, American families are focused intensely on what they see on the evening news, and read in the front pages of their newspapers.
With all of the understandable attention on economics and politics, an equally important story that should concern all Americans has been missed – a story about terror plots targeting US citizens at home and abroad, international drug rings financing terrorist activities, Islamic preachers spreading hate and encouraging violence against America, and active cells of Al-Qaeda, HAMAS and Hezbollah operatives scouring the land.
These aren’t events taking place just in the Middle East; and we’re not just concerned with the spread of Islamic violence across the globe, from Nigeria to the Philippines, or concerned about terrorist attacks in London, Madrid, Paris, or Glasgow. This is a warning for America.
While some politicians, corporate titans, and mainstream media have tried to keep us distracted with their side show, a sinister threat is growing in our neighborhoods and our cities. Very few Americans have been following the continuing saga about the rapid rise of Islamic extremism and the growth of terrorist networks across the United States.
