Jihad Jane, terrorists waging 'Lawfare,' child soldiers, and a massacre. These sound like scenarios in a disturbing new video game. Unfortunately, this is not a game and you don't get 10 points for knocking off a terrorist. This is merely a highlight of the headlines this week.
It was quite shocking to hear about Jihad Jane. We know that there have been cases of female suicide bombers, but a homegrown terrorist in the United States that is a woman has thankfully been a rare commodity. It will be interesting to see how her indictment affects conversations of racial profiling.
Then we hear stories of terrorists who manipulate our legal system in a concept known as 'lawfare.' Basically this means that our own laws are turned against us. The stories of this week become increasingly violent as they move away from legal manipulation and move towards pure physical harm. See below for an expose on child soldiers and learn how children are recruited to take up arms.
Undoubtedly the most horrific story of this week comes to us from Nigeria, where an estimated 200-500 Christians were massacred in the most ghastly way. It is time to take action. So far there has been no official word from the State Department on this massacre. You can change that by signing the petition today.

SEALs Case Shows How Terrorists Use 'Lawfare' to Undermine U.S.

The use of our democratic system and the rule of law by those whose intent is to destroy our civilization is a cynical tactic that Americans ought to be smart enough to see straight through.
Islamic jihadis are manipulating Western-style legal systems everywhere to their own benefit while we, the founders of those systems, are floundering in a morass of moral relativism, multicultural meaninglessness, and a deplorable amnesia about the genuine worth of our own heritage, traditions, and values.
The current case in point involves the three Navy SEALs who, as members of Seal Team 10, captured the Iraqi terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed in September 2009. Abed is charged with directing the March 2004 ambush of four Blackwater security guards in the town of Fallujah in which the four were killed, and their bodies mutilated, burned, and hung from a bridge. Complicity in the UN

A couple of years ago UNICEF estimated that at least 300,000 children were involved in 30 armed conflicts worldwide. I am not talking about victims. As victims, children number in the millions from the murdered, to the maimed, left homeless or parentless internationally. UNICEF is talking about perpetrators. Children who are combatants, messengers, porters and cooks and those forced into providing sexual services. Or more accurately, children who are abducted or forcibly recruited to fight for one side in armed conflict.
African child soldiers are often discussed in the media as are little boys in left wing guerrilla forces in Latin America. No one questions their status as manipulated victims. Surprisingly, little is said about the child suicide bomber, who is kidnapped, bought, drugged or indoctrinated to not only kill others, but him or herself as well.

Christians have been brutally massacred in Nigeria almost a week ago and we have heard nothing from the Office of the Spokesman in the State Department.
Reports have surfaced that anywhere from 200-500 were brutally slaughtered. The LA Times reported, "The killers planted nets and animal traps outside the huts of the villagers, mainly peasant farmers, fired weapons in the air, then attacked with machetes."
Seeing as there is no way to email the State Department, we have decided to start a petition. It is time that we hear condemnation from our representatives.
